POST/NOISE-PUNK. Their 5th full-length finds A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS difficult moments into some of their most urgent work to date. The noise-rock outlaws exist in a dimension of their own, fusing punishing, abrasive frequencies with moments of lucid melodic clarity. There's a sense of paranoia running through the songwriting that could only come from A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS. This album definitely does explore some new territory. It may alienate some current fans, but welcome new ones into the fold at the same time. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

INSTRUMENTAL/POST-ROCK. "the golden city" is the 1st album of a new German band named AIRPEOPLE. We are talking about an instrumental album from a band that is obviously influenced from TORTOISE and MOGWAI. The names of the tracks are names of some cities from all around the world plus the self titled "golden city". It’s like a big travel to the world in 38min.. AIRPEOPLE with this travel made a very promising beginning. These 9 songs combine rythmic, groove, melodies perfectly and will rock your body. Limited colored edition.

POST-PUNK. ALGARA's 1st communiqué vomits in the face of moderate leftism - encouraging class war and insurrection, and wanting the total annihilation of police forces. Home recorded in a Barcelona Squat, the production of their debut 4-track 7" is minimal. ALGARA deal in stark and sparse sounding post-punk that hints at CRISIS, early DECIMA VICTIMA and JOY DIVISION in equal measures. The lead guitar is brittle and skeletal, and sits perfectly on the driving rhythm section, made up of a primitive drum machine, creating a sonic background for their message to be heard.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Hailing from the fine city of Baltimore, ANGEL DUST brings their 2nd LP of blissed-out, melodic punk/hardcore that brings together the worlds of BAD BRAINS and LEMONHEADS like nobody before them has, all brought to you by members of bands like TRAPPED UNDER ICE and other freaks. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

METALCORE. ARKANGEL's "hope you die by overdose", originally released in 2004, was the highly anticipated album "dead man walking". Although slight style differences can be heard, "hope you die by overdose" goes on where the band left off with previous releases - true to the Arkangel sound. Many bands have tried their hands at this style in the last decades and simply missed the mark, but ARKANGEL still stands the time and damn bite. Colored (grey) is limited to 400 copies.

PUNK-ROCK. No rest for the wicked, here's the sophomore effort from these Buffalo bad boys. Another batch of outsider hardcore, musical complaints and grievances, this time with a wider scope of influence. A bit darker, a bit dirtier, an unquestionable progression from the 1st 7" but just as stupid and fucked up.

PUNK-ROCK. Vile Western dummy punk from the makers of BROWN SUGAR, SPACE WOLVES and WHITE GUILT. BAD PEOPLE picks up where their collective efforts leave off. "pearls before swine" is 7 grimy, sexually frustrated and socially inept cuts of weirdo rust-belt muzak. The name says it all and the proof is in the pudding. Punk for the true outsider.

PUNK-ROCK. BAYONETTES: After endless delays, the BAYONETTES 7” is now out. Toronto’s BAYONETTES play catchy melodic punk with strong female vocals. Almost 2 years ago, the BAYONETTES released a demo which received raving reviews from MRR but were unable to finalize this next recording session until very recently. Definitely poppy, catchy and upbeat. This is absolutely great stuff.

PUNK-ROCK. History lesson: Hanover, 1981 - punk in its early phase and BLITZKRIEG in the middle. Founded in 1979 and disbanded in 1982. "ohne zukunft" is the complete discography as with all the material, BLITZKRIEG ever recorded. Including the legendary "ohne zukunft" 7", live material and all compilation-tracks from "soundstracks zum untergang", "wir sind alle schlawiner", "kz 36” and "korn live". Minimalistic punk with hardcore hints with political and personal lyrics and straight anti-attitude, no future, punk. "ohne zukunft" is an authentic historical document of early German punk. Members later found the legendary BOSKOPS. Ouble vinyl comes housed in a gatefold-cover with historical pictures and bandhistory from the members.

POST-HARDCORE. Welcome the debut LP from Syracuse's BLOOD SUN CIRCLE, entitled, "bloodiest/sunniest". Consisting of the 3 Gorham brothers who made up most of ENGINEER; they used the gear shop they all own as a practice spot after hours to write these songs, and occasionally showcase them to audiences. The results are a sound that is honed to perfection by seasoned vets of epic music that is stark, bitter, and still massive in scope. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE. New Jersey's BUGGY recently dropped its debut demo, a 5-track attack of stomping hardcore that feels like it's from a different era. There are elements of oi and pure punk throughout, and the demo closes out with a version of "why be something that you're not", originally done by NEGATIVE APPROACH. Featuring current and former members of SCHOOL DRUGS, the BUGGY demo gives us just the fix we need until the release of their debut 7".

HARDCORE. CADENAXO are one of the most exciting current hardcore bands from Mexico. They have been compared to some classic '80s USHC bands like SSD, NEGATIVE APPROACH, and S.O.A. but if throw in some classic Mexican bands into that mix like SEDICION or HEREJIA and you will have CADENAXO. This is a definite must-have for those of you that enjoy hardcore.

HARDCORE. Baltimore's COLD FEET have crafted their own trashy, hardcore-punk anthems on "punk entity". Following a promising debut 7" and several tape releases, we find COLD FEET at the height of their game with eight completely scorching tracks. Caught somewhere in the crosshairs of the early '80s USHC craze, like the odd New Englander cousin who caught as much X-Claim as Mutha Records bands - COLD FEET harness the power of "get it away" era SSD, steal the reckless abandon of the 1st couple N.O.T.A. 7"s, and indulge the bohemian sense of humor that ADRENALIN O.D. rocked. COLD FEET are here to show ya that they're one of the most true-to-form hardcore bands of contempo hardcore-punk and hammer the point home with "punk entity".
