HARDCORE. "what on earth can we do?" falls almost perfectly between the QUICKSAND-leanings of the latest FURY album and the '90s crunch of MAGNITUDE, also bearing some of the melody of later TURNING POINT. "what on earth can we do?" is a natural progression of ABUSE OF POWER's unique style of blending melody and hooks along with fast paced, aggressive hardcore riffs. Colored vinyl comes housed in a gatefold-cover and includes a digital download card.

POST-PUNK-ROCK. Portland's ARCTIC FLOWERS have explored unique attempts at cross-pollinating genres that have grown apart over the course of the evolution of dark music, re-incorporating styles usually seen as mutually exclusive in today's fractured (and fractious) punk scene. The end result has been a catalog that is one of the current punk scene's most ambitious, challenging, and rewarding to listen to. Formed in 2009 ARCTIC FLOWERS has multiple releases under their belt. "straight to the hunter" is their newest 11 track full-length. Self released by the band.

PUNK-ROCK. Originally released in 1998 on Lookout! Records, this re-issue will include bonus tracks that were added in 2006 when Jade Tree Records 1st pressed this title on vinyl. "over the james" is the 4th album from AVAIL and this version includes the 14 original songs plus 4 bonus tracks. The raw energy of their legendary live show is finally conveyed on this thunderously pristine recording. With a more mature take on songwriting and probably Tim Barry's most personal lyrics to date, "over the james" is the most ferocious and vital statement of their career.

HARDCORE-PUNK. The news cycle as it exists in 2019 - rapid, permanently mutating, consistently grotesque - equally blesses and curses BAD BREEDING. A group with a keen eye for social injustice and establishment venality, expressed in hollered tones over a full-throttle, enervating soundclash of anarcho-punk, hardcore and noise-rock. This 12-song, 33min. album also include some hardy perennials of left-wing hardcore-punk: war, imperialism, the police, the press. Vinyl is housed in a classic CRASS style 12 panel fold-out poster-sleeve with essay inserts and download card.

HARDCORE. "object to persona" is the debut from South Florida's BE ALL END ALL. Featuring members of ECOSTRIKE, RESULT OF CHOICE, and FIELD AGENT. BE ALL END ALL blasts through 9 tracks that take a lot of cues from early-2000s bands like COUNT ME OUT or STRIKING DISTANCE, but apply a lot more blast beats and a slick, modern recording. Colored one-sided vinyl is limited to 500 copies and comes with a silkscreened b-side.

POST-PUNK. Released a year after their much hearled debut album "voice of a generation", "second empire justice" features half the members from the original line-up and with a new sound. While initially being an oi/skinhead punk band, on "second empire justice" they not only changed members and their look, but also their sound, and released a post-punk classic with a heavy dose of JOY DIVISION worship.

PUNK-ROCK. Noisy, angst-ridden, teenage, punk noise from BLOODY MESS AND HATE. Recorded in 1985, produced by GG Allin, and set for release in 1986. The record was shelved and only 9 of the tracks were released as a rare, self-dubbed tape in 1987. Finally restored to its full, filthy, scuzzy beauty, you get all 12 tracks. Limited edition of 500 copies.

FOLK/POST-ROCK. On his 4th album, Justin Vernon reassembles the familiar BON IVER elements - impressionist swells of sound, impenetrable-yet-tender lyrics, mesmerizing studio tricks, and they are buoyed by Vernon’s supple baritone, the instrument he knows how to manipulate best. Acoustic guitar, horns, and piano return to prominence alongside the jittery electronics and synths that Vernon has lately favored. But the mood he conjures with these elements feels new. These songs don’t swallow you whole with grandeur; they look outward, leaving some room for the rest of the world. The result is his most honest and forthright music ever.
