METAL/HARDCORE. Relentlessly savage, utterly memorable and at all times compelling, the sophomore full-length from TWITCHING TONGUES takes all of this devotion to the next level. With nearly 40min. of uncompromising crossover fury, "in love there is no law" melds elements of TYPE O'NEGATIVE, OBITUARY, CELTIC FROST, LIFE OF AGONY and CRO-MAGS into an instantly mesmerizing, morose and wholly distinctive alloy of metal, hardcore and beyond. Modernizing the works of the masters from two decades or more ago, with each hook and chorus the band's punishing and primitive stylings grow more memorable than the last and will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression after a solitary listen. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

METAL/HARDCORE. Recorded live in the Van Nuys, CA stadium called The Pit in front of screaming fans, this is (not) a true testament to the event that occurs when this band hits the stage. The band was tired of hearing "they're better live", so here it is. With a setlist comprising mostly songs from their latest album, "in love there is no law", as well as previous material, the record almost doubles as a best-of the band's current stage. Vinyl version includes a digital download card and a poster.

ALTERNATIVE/COUNTRY. After releasing 3 albums and touring alongside DRAG THE RIVER, Ohio's TWO COW GARAGE are back. Having received comparisons to bands like LUCERO and the DRIVE BY TRUCKERS, "speaking in cursive" finds the band moving past their influences and finding their sound. While a departure to some degree, expect existing fans to love it, and new fans to be drawn in.

POST-PUNK. Who would have thought that this duo's simple formula of drums, bass and reverb vocals would be creating such a buzz. Recent San Fran transplants via Minneapolis, this dynamic duo has been tearing up basements, warehouses, bars, back yards, parties, and public restrooms for the better part of 2007. Think if CRIME didn't have their guitars and "flowers of romance" by PUBLIC IMAGE LTD got mashed up and only have you begun to get where the direction that TWO DOLLARS OUT THE DOOR take you. This is lo-fi and stripped down punk-rock at its finest with some of the most unique diy-packaging you'll see in awhile.

POST-ROCK. On their 2nd full-length, TWO GALLANTS weave urgent back-alley storytelling with no-frills instrumentation that alternately boils with visceral fervor and mourns with plaintive restraint. The youthful duo play a strain of rock that falls somewhere between folk, punk, and old-time blues and the resulting sound is much more than the sum of its parts. The double LP version includes 2 bonus tracks from the band's early recordings and a digital download card.

EMO/POST-PUNK. After two well-received full-lengths, TWO INCH ASTRONAUT parted ways with original bassist and were joined by Andy Chervenak of Grass Is Green (members of which went on to be in bands such as Empress Of, Speedy Ortiz and Palehound). "personal life" is their most varied, honest and honed collection of songs to date, presented with leaner and tougher production than any of their previous efforts, with a sound akin to bands like JAWBOX, FAILURE, SHINER and FUGAZI. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

EMO/INDIE-PUNK. Formed in 2012 TYPESETTER quickly became regulars on the d.i.y. touring circuit and began building a catalog of tuneful, yet gritty songs. On "nothing blues", TYPESETTER dives headfirst into this new territory and providing the driving rhythmic walls of shimmering reverb and distortion, while the synths add a dreamy flourish rarely heard in tandem with the directness of punk. GARAGE/INDIE-ROCK. After five years of playing gigs Melbourne's TYRANNAMEN finally released their debut album. The album is just 23min. long but every minute is worth the admission price alone. It sits somewhere between ROYAL HEADACHE and Irish power-pop kings THE MOONDOGS. The album is filled to the brim with rambunctious and infectious punk. Channelling blues and rock 'n' roll in equal measure, TYRANNAMEN have crafted a pointed and enjoyable record that encourages body movement and creates a joyful inner feeling after just one listen.

GARAGE-ROCK. The U-MEN were avant-garage explorers and, most importantly, they fucking rocked. From 1983 to 1987, the U-Men were the undisputed kings of the Seattle Underground. They were hypnotic, frenetic, powerful and compelling. It was impossible to resist getting sucked into their weird, darkly absurd world. They effortlessly blended THE SONICS, PERE UBU, CAPTAIN BEEFHEART. Their shows were loose-limbed, drunken dance parties and no two shows were alike. Re-issue got remastered by Jack Endino, has 5 unreleased tracks, comes with 16 page booklet and includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE. U-NIX follow up their impressive debut 7" on Lumpy with "nuke portland", a scathing, psychotic hardcore masterpiece. These 8 tracks fire at full speed, with John Cardwell's (ex-NASA SPACE UNIVERSE) trebly guitar attack leading the mix alongside a pulverizing rhythm section and gravelly maniac vocals. This is total trend-stripping music - a furious hardcore attack that careens forward with precision and speed. Simply put, U-NIX are one of the last pure hardcore bands worth their weight. Vinyl includes a digital download card.
