INDIE-ROCK. Melanie Valera's 3rd full-length album moves away from some of the more exuberant dance oriented songs of past years into a darker and more melancholy direction. These songs push through the forest as the evening comes, dripping wet, the lights of a little house up ahead. What "no snare" retains is Valera's emotional clarity and eloquence. Throughout TENDER FOREVER’s work there is a commitment to understanding feelings and desires and seeing them through to completion. "no snare" pushes through the wake and lays the turmoil to rest.

POP-PUNK-ROCK. TENEMENT began in 2006 with a series of loose demo recordings and singles that married the genres of pop and punk without being explicitly pop-punk and, to many, represented the power and urgency of hardcore without actually conforming to the genre itself. These recordings have been compiled here on "bruised music volume one", which covers TENEMENT's output on record between the years 2006 to 2009. The influence of '80s punk is strong in the bulk of the material, likening the feeling of the DESCENDENTS or THE REPLACEMENTS. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

You'll hear the 1st inkling of TENEMENT's interest in the fusion of classical stringed instruments and pop music. You'll get 14 tracks in all, including material compiled from the "taking everything" 7", split 7" with CULO, split 7" with CHEEKY, "freak cast in iron" 7", "puke and destroy vol. 2" 7" compilation and split 7" with SCREAMING FEMALES. All material has once again been mastered for this release. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

POP-PUNK-ROCK. After the release of last year's highly anticipated double LP masterpiece "predatory headlights" comes a new release by the Wisconsin punk outfit known as TENEMENT. This self-titled record includes the newly mastered 5-song, only previously released to a limited 50 tape as well as 2 new unreleased tracks. Like most TENEMENT releases, this record transitions willingly into a different side of the band, one that's a little less punk and a little more pop. The band has always stayed steadfast to being one big polychromatic puzzle. No singular record can properly portray their musical identity as a whole. Here lies yet another piece to the ongoing puzzle, a puzzle many fans surely hope won't get solved anytime soon. VInyl includes a digital download card.

POP-PUNK-ROCK. This is the repress of TENEMENT’s 2nd album, "the blind wink". Their 1st album, "napalm dream”, was heavy on the high octane catchy punk, and definitely great but "the blink wink" is where the band found their confidence and compiled a very distinct and mixed sounding album’s worth of material. From the REPLACEMENTS, the DECENDENTS, and the LEMONHEADS, the influences are obvious and the delivery spot on. TENEMENT have managed to comfortably move beyond the confines of the punk song and keep us captivated. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

SCREAMO-HARDCORE. TENTACLES is from Texas and this is their 1st LP after a 7" on React With Protest. They drop massive and heavy European influenced swirling emo-violent hurricanes here. Vicious vocals and wild structures throughout. If you like the heavier side of screamo and are a fan of stuff like SHIKARI, this is for you. The covers are screen-printed on used covers to minimize resource use.

SCREAMO-HARDCORE. TENTACLES from Texas deliver heavy chaotic emo-violence not unlike SHIKARI. This record will have some super-heavy riffs and combine them with lulls of melodic, atmospheric gloom; some insane double-bass and doesn't really focus as much on breakdowns as it does on pure speed; which basically means that the vocalist screams like a fucking banshee.

PROGRESSIVE-HARDCORE/METAL. TEPHRA. Tephra hail out of Germany. They have been around since 2003 and previously released 2 full-length records. "tempel" deliver 8 new experimental rock songs (48min). This is by far their most technically diverse, dynamic and complex album. TEPHRA dropped their keyboard player and supplied their NEUROSIS-influenced heavy doom-rock with a versatile, unmistakable portion of energetic groove grounded by their head-nodding rhythym section. "tempel" brings you eruptive noise that will certainly push most speakers to their breaking point. "tempel" is epic without bombast. It's an orchestral wall of sound that is equally as entrancing as it is unnerving. Their approach to the perpetual change from bone-crushing to more quiet passages makes them distinctive and unique. The limited 180gr LP is housed in a superthick cardboard gatefold sleeve with a die-cut on the front.

POST-ROCK. TERA MELOS' 1st proper full-length, "patagonian rats" is packed with melodic hooks and jabs that on paper might seem to defy the band's experimental edge. There's even clear and distinct vocals throughout - a first for the band, where vocals, if any, were previously awash with distortion and layered in the mix. But, particulars aside, "patagonian rats" is the type of album that sticks with you. DoLP comes with gatefold sleve and includes MP3 download card with 3 bonus tracks.

POWER-VIOLENCE-HARDCORE. From the dissonant introduction of opening track "assembly line" quickly cutting into a growling beatdown, the brutality is threateningly direct and focused without restraint. Tracks like "war in the Name of peace" through "violator/violated" effortlessly cross their INFEST and WEEKEND NACHOS influences with the streetwise ferocity of metallic hardcore-meets-power-violence blasts and stomps. For fans of SPINE, INFEST, WEEKEND NACHOS.

POWER-VIOLENCE-HARDCORE. Hardcore with heavy breakdowns… fans of WEEKEND NACHOS and LACK OF INTEREST will be pleased. TERMINAL NATION are a hardcore band from Arkansas who combine the spirit of NYHC bands like CITIZENS ARREST and SHEER TERROR with the relentlessness of power-violence. This unique concoction of hardcore makes their 7” called "waste" a force to be reckoned with. The 8 song 7" is chock full of disgruntled aggression that bellows out of every pore of the record.

POWER-VIOLENCE/BLACK-METAL. TERMINAL NATION come rip, roaring, raging, clawing out of Little Rock with some of the angriest political hardcore tinged with hardcore ever heard. NECKBEARD DEATHCAMP on the other side could not be more different but with the exact same civic rhetoric as the flip side but instead sound like they recorded their songs in a Transylvanian cave next to DARKTHRONE. This band dropped an amazing demo and this antifa black-metal outfit from an undisclosed location is back with 2 songs that are not to be missed.

7" 7.50€*

HARDCORE. TERMINAL STATE play early US hardcore and their sound has been described as absolute top shelf hardcore-punk and an instant modern classic. These 3 tracks continue where the band left off without any lame departure in sound; totally ripping hardcore for fans of CAREER SUICIDE and GOVERNMENT WARNING.

7" 2.50€*

HARDCORE. Another great output from Toronto’s striving hardcore-punk scene. TERMINAL STATE play hardcore the old fashion way without butchering the simple formula that has define a sound that stands the test of time. It’s fast, loud and snotty. "your rules" is 8 tracks of D.C. inspired hardcore.
