INDIE/EMO-PUNK. Although the members have made names for themselves for nearly 20 years in other musical endeavors, UNWED reaches far beyond anything in their combined history. Following the release of their debut via No Idea Records, UNWED set out to write and record their 1st proper full-length. The end result, entitled "raise the kids", captures a band bridging the gaps between hard-rock, anthemic-punk, and alternative with splendid precision. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

INDIE-PUNK-ROCK. Dirty punk-rock with great melodies. Very reminiscent of THE REPLACEMENTS, SEBADOH, and DINOSAUR JR.. Soaring guitar leads and pounding drums. This is a great follow up to their split 7" with Annie from THIS IS MY FIST.

POST/EMO/NOISE-PUNK. An album Maximum Rock 'N' Roll deemed not punk enough to review, UNWOUND's 1994 sophomore effort was a lethal depth charge aimed at major-label grunge and independent hardcore alike. From the off-kilter, vertiginous rhythm of "entirely different matters" to the neck-snapping velocity of "what was wound" to the relentless pounding at the end of "all souls day", "new plastic ideas" is the SONIC YOUTH-loving older sister to "fake train's" post-punk-obsessed little brother.

HARDCORE. Featuring members of BREAK AWAY and FRIEND OR FOE, UPPER HAND burst onto the scene with one of the highlight sets of United Blood 2013, followed up by touring up and down the East-Coast bringing a brand of hardcore inspired by New York bands like MURPHY'S LAW and CRO-MAGS. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE-PUNK. THE UPRISING were a U.K. hardcore band, heavily influenced by early US hardcore as well as what was going on in their scene at the time. They were a short-lived force to be reckoned with. In 1986 they released a demo tape and like most bands, vanished from the scene. Tape traders have kept the demo circulating for 25+ years. For fans of DISCHARGE and early US Hardcore. Members went on to play in THE ENGLISH DOGS, PSYCHO BOMBS, and THE DAMNED. One time pressing of 500 copies.

PUNK-ROCK. This is the re-issue of UPROAR’s classic album from 1983. "and the lord said..." is their 14 track debut album. Whatever you would expect from a punk album released in '83 can probably be found in spades on this particular album. Musically, it’s pretty obvious that anyone who’s heard a punk record in his/her life knows pretty much what to expect here. It’s like a postcard for the genre: fast, abrasive, rough as hell and yet still thoroughly catchy. UNPROAR is an underrated UK punk-rock band. If you like your ONE WAY SYSTEM, G.B.H. and EXPLOITED records, you should buy this excellent album.

OI/PUNK-ROCK. Upset: a word that describes the sound of this Catalonian band perfectly. Aggressive, pissed off and evil. Oi-punk that carries influences from hardcore to punk. The former BULLDOZER front man and his mates act and truly sound like a real bulldozer. Classic, UK oi-punk sound from the mid-'90s meets American oi and, of course, the hard hitting rock 'n' roll style of bands such as BONECRUSHER. Hard, but melodic, dirty and rough, and despite delivering a well-produced record, they still sound like an angry pit bull that hasn't been fed for a few days. Vinyl is limited to 500 copies and includes a digital download card.

POST/WAVE-PUNK. Minneapolis’ URANIUM CLUB seem to revel in being aggressively obtuse. URANIUM CLUB spits out some pretty damn catchy, no-frills punk-rock. They have quickly garnered comparisons to DEVO, particularly the twitchy neurosis of the early "q: are we not men? a: we are devo" era. Of course, URANIUM CLUB has the perfect mask for their technical skills: lyrics marred by a sardonic sense of humor.

POP/PUNK-ROCK. The much anticipated new long player from Ventura's (now) 4 piece, founded by the same creative forces behind punk oddballs DRY-ROT. Departing from where they last left off, these songs incorporate some of the similar noise punk-to-pop of the 1st LP while venturing into more unhinged instrumental territory and electronic rumblings. The collection here wades from noisy riffing and amorphous vocals to dark chasms of ambience, back into gritty melodies without bursting apart in the process. Limited to 300 copies.

PUNK-HARDCORE. French URBAN ATTACK deliver blistering metal- and street-punk influenced hardcore-punk. For fans of UNSEEN, OXYMORON, ONE WAY SYSTEM or THE EXPLOITED ("massacre" and "beat the bastards"-era). Vinyl is limited to 514 copies, comes with printed discobag and includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE. Channelling early '80s Boston and New York hardcore, Toronto, Canada's URBAN BLIGHT tear through 10 tracks of fast, pissed off hardcore with an authentic sounding recording and blown out vocals on music that's comparable to THE ABUSED, STRAIGHT AHEAD, SSD and NEGATIVE FX.

MLP 13.50€*

HARDCORE. Locked away in a basement in Sweden, this band of degenerates started piecing together riffs that had more in common with early US hardcore "no future" punk than it did with the jerky riffs of their Scandinavian brethren. Malmo is a post-industrial town where the working class struggles for both work and an identity. Their sound is nomadic; a blistering cacophony of boots on streets and tight, organic rhythms. Their aesthetic references all come from the darker side of punk in its variety of styles. The aggressive back-beat of NEGATIVE APPROACH and the driving guitar of BLITZz come through at equal levels, creating a sound that is honed in on an idea more than a sound. This is music for savages.

HARDCORE. A re-issue of the classic 7" by one of the most sought after and enigmatic bands from the earliest days of New York hardcore. Despite the obscurity of the original release, URBAN WASTE was made famous through their signature style of blown-out, over the top hardcore replete with trademark menacing buzzsaw guitars and piercing vocals. This is an official release. Finally re-pressed again. Vinyl includes a digital download card.
