POST-PUNK. RANK/XEROX from San Francisco finally return with 4 songs of messy post-punk with hidden pop james and dark guitar scratchers and synth screamers. Distorting messy and catchy at the same time. Colored (silver) vinyl is limited to 100 copies only.

MLPcol 12.50€*

POST-PUNK. The album follows a 7" and a split tape. The sound is one of post-punk tension, messy but vaguely pop in a fractured fashion, guitar scratchers and synth screamers. The 10 track record inhabits darker, danker spaces than previously, damaged dirges seep out from a confused consciousness, and are stared down by obtuse ragers and disorienting excursions into the synth zone. RANK/XEROX have a visceral-yet-moody texture reminiscent of FEEDERZ, some RUDIMENTARY PENI attitude.

HARDCORE. RAPID LOSS hailing from Canada. These punks started their band in snowy terrains of Alberta. With one previous 7" release under their belts RAPID LOSS laid out this hardcore-punk record and raised the bar! With influences from BGK to SIEGE these guys bring this ripping album to life. The guitars rip so hard and it's like a gift that won't stop giving...hardcore track after hardcore track. Make sure you keep an eye out for them.

POST-PUNK. RAPIDER THAN HORSEPOWER are members of RACENANNON and REP SEKI and come from Bloomington, Indiana. They are playing some geeky avangarde post-punk influenced by bands like CAPTAIN BEEFHEART, PAVEMENT or LES SAVY FAV, but do not sound like any of these bands at all. THE MAE SHI are from Los Angeles and play surprise music and are just influenced by homemade mixtapes and mainstream hip-hop as they are by fat day or the ex. None of this X meets Y shit is gonna work though, because THE MAE SHI is a band that you will listen to more than talk about.

HARDCORE: "i glorify" is the debut 7" from Leeds, UK-based hardcore unit RAPTURE. Taking a big leap from their well-received demo from last year, RAPTURE has further developed their signature sound blending FLOORPUNCH and early TURNING POINT with a hint of early YOUTH OF TODAY, brimming with a powerful rhythm section and catchy guitar hooks. The fast-paced lyrics focus on the social pressures of everyday life, the power of words that seem to be so freely dispensed in today's society, online or otherwise, and the costly effect that they can have.

POP-PUNK. RARITY is one of the most exciting new bands to come from Canada's underground pop-punk scene. After years of touring under their own steam, RARITY finally caught the attention of Rise Records who admired the band's strong work ethic and their ability to write infectious songs. RARITY craft their debut album, "i couldn't be weaker" - the result is 10 songs of melodic pop-punk with catchy hooks, blended with the angst and aggression that the genre has grown to miss. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

NOISE-HARDCORE. Chicago’s Rash follow up their "skinner box" album with this 3 song ripper. Pure heavy blown up punk stomping with absolute writhing filth anger on vocals. Bleak beatings.

NOISE-HARDCORE. Primitive noise-hardcore coming out of Chicago and featuring ex-members of DIVINE RIGHT and PICKED CLEAN. "skinner box" is their 1st official release in 3 years. RASH offer 11 songs of primal unsettling hardcore. RASH RASH play a blistering, ugly, and ultra-pissed style of hardcore with an obvious Chicago '80s Touch & Go style and swagger. Obvious comparisons to bands like RAW NERVE, AEROSOLS and REPOS can be made, but that only scratches the surface when describing the band's soundReminicent of Record comes in 3 color screenprinted jacket and is limited to 550 copies.

HARDCORE. RASH TONGUE is another gnarly Boston band. This debut 7" captures 7 mangling tracks - putting together their own relentless brewage of straight-forward Swedcore, d-Beat and hints of early and classic US hardcore.

HARDCORE-PUNK. The perfect melding of 2 timeless facets of punk, the honest forward thinking D.C. style hardcore of FAITH and VOID split with total DEATH SIDE style anthemic hardcore. Both are furious and immediate and work together in perfect harmony here without really sounding like either exactly. RASHOMON has had their share of setbacks with immigration, mental health, modern American life in general... and that urgency and frustration is reflected here crystal clear. 500 copies of 150 gram black vinyl with an etched b-side are housed in a beautiful jacket along with an insert and a download card.

LP 18.50€*

HARDCORE-PUNK. RASHOMON is one of the best, new hardcore-punk bands to emerge from Washington, DC. Fulfilling the promise of the new wave of D.C. bands, like PURE DISGUST, RASHOMON comes roaring out the gates with this 4-song demo that is one of the best hardcore releases of the year, thus far. Fronted by Japanese national Kohei, the band takes elements all over the international, '80s hardcore-punk spectrum with touches of metallic guitar leads and insane drumming.

POST/POP-PUNK. David West (RANK/XEROX, TOTAL CONTROL etc.) delivers 5 new songs of his shoe-gaze driven earnest unashamed guitar pop - 5 songs of wonderful frosted jangle, sad pop-post-punk with potential ear wings that let you melt away under the sun on some beach. Just beautiful. Colored vinyl is limited to 500 copies; comes with silk-screened covers and includes a digital download card.

INDIE-ROCK. "aoid" starts with disarming sounds swarming and settling into a prominent, mellifluous vocal track and heartbreakingly tender strumming. This is just a taste of how RATBOYS take cues from ARCHITECTURE IN HELSINKI and early RILO KILEY to create their punky, early-aughts, alt-rock sound. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

OI/STREET-PUNK. Brought back from the '70s, a very seldom used vinyl record hologram perfectly illustrates how in the music business, to get an edge, you "gotta be cool". And that's exactly what this record, and this song, are. The cover of LOU REED's classic "rock 'n' roll" jamming on the b-side is certainly going to strike a chord with a lot of people, and the rainbow, foil-stamped, '70s-style picture sleeve ain't too shabby either. Vinyl includes a digital download card. * BLACK FRIDAY 2018 *
