OI/STREET-PUNK. Heavily impressing with both their self-released demo in 2015 and 2016's "boots on the ground" 7" for Foreign Legion Records, Massachusetts' own ROGUE TROOPER are definitely in a league of their own. Now the troopers are back and they come out guns blazing with their debut LP - "class decline". Where ROGUE TROOPER's previous work was heavily impressive, this LP will blow you away! With smart lyrics, a well thought out sound and catchy, boisterous anthems, these young guns can definitely gather themselves among the select few we dare to march off the beaten tracks of oi! music, while undoubtedly delivering a future classic!

"NOISE-PUNK. "Ionsamfelagio og framtio pess" which roughly translates to "industry and its future", is taking the oddity and isolationism of hardcore-punk and industrial-noise and smashing them even further together than they did on previous releases. This is the sound of a band perfecting its approach to the world. And we can't get enough. At first listen it is what seems to be a simple formula of bass, noise, drums and vocals but as you continue to listen, delicate layers of depression, life, anger, creativity, emergence and deconstruction begin to unfold until you find yourself trapped in a dystopian clamor void of hellish nothingness. Vinyl includes a digital ndownload card.

NOISE-PUNK. Stomping isolationist noise-punk with a raging undercurrent of industry and primitivism from Reykjavik, Island. This 7" shows a much noisier and angrier side of what was once an industrial solo project. All sung in Icelandic. Along with DAUÐYFLIN, these folks are fostering a cold hardcore outsider vibe in a place that has had a rich tradition of punk/pop that's not widely known for it. A pure record. Vinyl is limited to 500 copies and includes a digital download card.

GARAGE-ROCK. With "don't slander me", Roky almost stuck his spike in the turf of the rock establishment. Recorded with a rolling cast of musicians following the dissolution of THE ALIENS, the birth of THE EXPLOSIVES and a recording band featuring members of both, the album was recorded against a backdrop of the emerging punk scene, which arrived late to ERICKSON's native Texas. Never again would ROKY ERICKSON's music be so tight, so together, and so blazingly rocking. Double vinyl comes housed in a deluxe gatefold tip-on jacket, thick booklet, etched d-side and a digital download card.

"gremlins have pictures" is an anthology of ERICKSON's solo work following his extended incarceration at the Rusk State Hospital for the criminally insane, beginning with his 1st live performance (opening for a screening of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre in Austin). Collected here, the odds and ends of ERICKSON's post-incarceration work tell a story of a man finding his musical feet, ranging from DYLAN-like folk strumming to the big, NEIL YOUNG-like rock. From The Ritz Theatre tracks, recorded in 1975, to those troubled "don't slander me" off-cuts. Other tracks were cut with the EXPLOSIVES, the band ROKY started working with after he'd returned to Austin in 1979. Together the various tracks deftly summarize ROKY ERICKSON's recording career. Vinyl comes housed in a deluxe gatefold tip-on jacket, thick booklet, a digital download card, and bonus 7".

POST-HARDCORE. "life time" is the 1st full-length studio album from ROLLINS BAND, fronted by ex-BLACK FLAG singer, Henry Rollins. Vinyl includes a digital download card with 4 additional tracks.

BLACK/POST-METAL. RORCAL is a blackened black and doom-metal band from Switzerland not unlike CELESTE. With "vilagvege", RORCAL lift up their black hoods and reveal their darkest facet. Imagine the biggest tragedy that could fall upon us and multiply it by 1000, still… you wouldn’t get close to what "vilagvege" sounds like. RORCAL music has no boundaries and "vilagvege" is here to prove it. When doom turns into black, you can't expect anything but chaos: 8 tracks straight to the point, nervous and furious like never before. Simply, one of the best and most anticipated releases of 2013.

PUNK-ROCK. This 7" captures 6 tracks from Gainesvilles own ROSE CROSS. They perfectly mix a frantic blend of the '77 Los Angeles sound Dangerhouse made famous (AVENGERS, BAGS,) with the Australian sound made famous by the likes of X or THE VICTIMS. Frontwoman Keri Smith's cold vocal delivery is a perfect ying to the punk & roll yang of the band, lead by guitarist Rich Gibb. They stop on a dime and there is very little filler in these songs. Straight to the point and no nonsense. This limited pressing of 500 copies comes with two-colored silk-screened covers.

PROG-ROCK/DOOM/BLACK-METAL. Influenced by classic black-metal, doom and '70s prog-rock the album is a schizophrenic mix of grossly pretentious soul bearing and darkly pretty melodies meted out with the lofty precision of an opera-star in a shoebox. Claustrophobic, intense, and more than occasionally ridiculous, it’s a commanding performance from ROSE KEMP, even if it fails to command our interest for long. "unholy majesty" contains 50min. of broadly gothic, broadly neurotic, tomb - raiding agit-folk from Bristol’s crusty old sea-harpy, ROSE KEMP.

LP 15.00€*

FOLK/POST-ROCK. "rose windows" is the sophomore album by ROSE WINDOWS, a Seattle-based sextet that drew upon everything from american-folk to guitar-rock, from pentatonic proto-metal to traditional persian music, from the darker corners of California's early psych scene to the hazy atmospherics of contemporary drone artists. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-METALROCK. ROSETTA returned in 2017 with "utopioid", their 6th full-length album and most concept-driven work to date, an intersection of heaviness and beauty. "sower of wind" is a LP built on soundscapes buried inside "utopioid" - elements which the band thought deserved a fuller treatment. Each track draws inspiration and source material from the corresponding quadrant of "utopioid", but uses it to tell a different story. It's a more peaceful, primordial listen than its older brother, without vocals or percussion, drawing tension from the interplay of acoustic instruments and washed-out drones. For fans of ISIS, MONO, PG.LOST or STARS OF THE LID.

POST-METAL. On the heels of an incredible 2-year, 36- country, 200-show touring, ROSETTA returns with "terra sola". Conceived on tour and breathing more freely outside the structure of a formal album, the title track layers a multitude of moods, its cinematic sweep hearkening back to ROSETTA deep cuts. "terra sola" also features 2 new b-side tracks, connected in concept but showcasing the quieter sonic incarnation of ROSETTA.

POST-METAL. While the latter saw ROSETTA expand to a 5-piece and use melodic vocals for the 1st time, "the anaesthete" emphasizes the dark and dismal side of ROSETTA. After concluding a decade-long partnership with Translation Loss Records in 2013, ROSETTA embraced their newfound independence in 2013 with this self-funded, pay-as-you-wish album. Informed as much by the minimal soundscapes of STARS OF THE LID as by the pulverizing weight of GODFLESH and drone/doom influences, ROSETTA's compositions have a spaced-out, exploratory feel, appropriately dubbed metal for astronauts. Limited colored (yellow/orange) vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-METAL. ROSETTA returns in 2017 with "utopioid", their 6th full-length album and most concept-driven work to date. Written as a four-part song cycle that treads multipolar extremes of texture, dynamics, and harmony, it reaches the highest heights and the deepest lows of the band's career. An unflinching study of human aspiration, frailty, and betrayal, the album is equal parts mysticism and the band's own biography, encapsulating and transcending the band's 14 years of sonic experimentation. With "utopioid", ROSETTA has again upended their stylistic palette. Limited colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-PUNK/NEW-WAVE. Two years after the debut album "grey city live", you'll get a suggestion of the Bielefeld Duo. The 2nd album "hope", on their own label In A Bad Mood Records. It is undeniable that the soundscapes oscillating between indie, dark-pop and post-punk are captivating and vivacious - the danceable and poppy tunes sound even clearer, the punk part, on the other hand, slams away with a good deal of dirt and pressure - references are the WIPERS, JOY DIVISION, JOHN MAUS and the 39 CLOCKS. The 11 thracks from the shadow of a big city treat love both in the rational, as well as in the emotional and passionate sense. ROSI succeeds in the art of not drowning these moods in the pool of black-and-thirsty gimmickry and theatricality, but always adding color spots in the right places. Vinyl is limited to 250 copies and includes a digital download card.
