PUNK-HARDCORE. PANDEMIX formed in 2016 with the intention of being a peace-punk band. While the end result was something harder to pin to a specific sub-genre, the musical and visual aesthetic pf the band references foundational punk bands while speaking to something more contemporary and vital. The music sounds paranoid. This 7” includes songs recorded at the same session as the band’s debut "scale models of asrocities" released on Boss Tunage Records. This 7" can function as a stunning companion piece to the LP, or a perfect entry-point for the uninitiated.

PUNK-HARDCORE. PANDEMIX from Boston were one of the best kept secrets up until a few months ago, when their "pathological culture" demo spread across the punk community. Following on from the reissue of that demo as a Flexi, bringing the band out to a further circle of people, here is the hotly anticipated debut release. "scale models of atrocities" is everything you hoped the 1st PANDEMIX record would sound like, but then adds on those expectations and sky rockets them. This isn’t just a debut, its an initial statement of intent for the future. Vinyl comes with CD (plus 2 bonus songs from an upcoming 7" release) and poster.

POST-PUNK. PANGEA has progressed from a (typically acoustic) two-piece, to a full, five-piece electric wall of sound. Quite different then their previous releases. The production value on this is amazingly loud, powerful, and bursting with energy. Personally bringing to mind bands like early PERE UBU and WIRE, this record is charged to the brink with catchy melodies you won't be able to get out of your head if you tried.

HARDCORE. PANIC was one of the fastest, angriest bands in Boston. They released two 7"s on Bridge Nine Records and broke up in mid-2002. Forward 4 years, and PANIC is back, after playing a reunion show and getting back on their feet, they've reformed and to support this rebirth, Bridge Nine has collected their now out-of-print recordings and 3 song demo on one release. Available again on colored vinyl with 6 additional tracks and a digital download card.

PUNK-ROCK. About time for PANIC BEATS master sicko Dale VanThomme to send out the hooded ripper again. Piece by piece this new album adds to the rotten slaughter-punk corpse that Dale has been suturing up in his basement in the last couple of years. Again, there's enough blood and gore in every groove of this record to make a butcher smile. Dale’s chop chop skills have improved steadily and he takes his time now to delightfully disembowel his victims and frantically feast on these 12 horror-flick-inspired, RAMONES-riff-drenched and manically driven songs that leave nothing to the imagination. Grab a knife, punk!

PUNK-ROCK. Lock up your daughters, the axeman is coming. Dale van Thomme's one-man gang PANIC BEATS slipped out of the straightjacket. This one rips your heart out with 14 literally diversified stabwounds that deal with killing, slashing, ripping, bashing, mutilating, slaying, murdering, strangling, biting and then some good old death and destruction as well. Jeez, this makes the MISFITS look like virginal choir boys singing Christian songs. All this poetic beauty is accompanied with fast and raw RAMONES-style Punk between a zombiefied and putrid version of TEENAGE BOTTLEROCKET, MISFITS and the SPITS without their synthisized horror flick background muzack. You're dead meat after this one.

CRUST-HARDCORE. PANIKOS was one of the classic crust bands from the '90s that made Greek crust something notable to collectors. The Greeks took the classic English and American crust sounds and transformed them into their own unique ideas and expressions. These are the 1st PANIKOS recordings in over 10 years. And it was worth the wait, they're better than ever. This record uses AMEBIX and NEUROSI as a starting point and then takes those ideas in a distinctly more rocking direction. Clean and heavy sound that feels natural and organic rather than overproduced and sterile.

PUNK-ROCK. Alternative Tentacles Records celebrates PANSY DIVISION's 25th anniversary with "quite contrary", an unforgettable collection of hook-filled singalongs. Starting back in 1991 in San Francisco, singer/guitarist Jon Ginoli and bassist/vocalist Chris Freeman shared the experience of not only being outsiders for being gay, but also for being gay punk rockers. Also featuring guitarist/vocalist Joel Reader (MR. T EXPERIENCE; AVENGERS) and drummer Luis Illades (AVENGERS), "quite contrary" is the perfect follow up to 2009's "that's so gay". Vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-HARDCORE. Featuring half of the members fom MERKIT, PANZRAM cut through brooding hardcore in vain of BORN AGAINST or MILHOUSE. From shouted to sung to screamed, both members on vocal duty. This single keeps with the concept of humans regaling their pitiful human achievements or originality. The final song on side-b is a PSYCHEDELIC FURS cover of "the fall", a song on the similar topic. This is a one time pressing of 500 copies with 2 color silkscreened covers.

POST-HARDCORE. PANZRAM plays angry, ugly hardcore deep down in Florida. They play in a genre populated by bands like WALLS, POLLUTION, or DRUGS OF FAITH, where the sound is rooted in hardcore, but is definitely not traditional. Downtuned, noisy riffs, seething vocals, and the odd hint of post-hardcore round out the sound. The record is packaged in a handmade envelope style jacket with nice screenprinting.

EMO/INDIE-PUNK. While most people were relaxing over the Christmas break of 2014, PAPER ARMS were locked away in the studio recording their 3rd full-length album, "great mistakes". It's an album written in spite of the 800km distance that formed between the band and vocalist Josh Mann. It's an album that was written in spite of the loss of a founding member. And it is an album that is hopelessly optimistic in spite of it all. Running the gammut from punk-rock to grunge to spacey epics, the album sees the band taking their wide range of influences, and weaving them together as if they we always meant to be. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

EMO/INDIE-PUNK. Some say punk-rock is dead, and others claim it's alive and kicking. Whatever you believe it's hard to deny that Australia have produced some extraordinary talent in its thriving punk scene over the last few years. PAPER ARMS' 2nd offering, "the smoke will clear", boasts 13 tracks of tight, straightforward, no fuss punk-rock, which translates all the energy and passion of a live performance into the studio. PAPER ARMS demonstrating an impressive ability to produce memorable lyrics. This, coupled with the band’s knack for writing killer infectious punk. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

PUNK-ROCK. PAPER DRAGONS is a Baltimore punk band featuring former and current members of DEEP SLEEP, DEAD MECHANICAL, PULLING TEETH, BAD BUSINESS... the list goes on. These guys have been around quite a while. You'll get 10 songs of uniquely crafted, early L.A.-styled punk-rock that melds the members' other offerings with a fresh spin on things. INDIE-POP. PAPERCUTS prinicipal Jason Robert Quever's beautiful songwriting is thoughtful, evocative, subtle, and simultaneously ambitious. And the new PAPERCUTS album, "fading parade", - the band's 4th overall - is dream pop of the highest order. "fading parade" is meticulously designed pop music, with a fully developed sense of space and a sturdy wall of sound. With the aid of strings, autoharp, 12-string acoustic guitars, piano, echoplexes, analog and digital recording methods, this new album is wide-ranging and adventurous. Imagine BELLE & SEBASTIAN teaming up with SLOWDIVE back when he was killing it in the studio rather than, well, you know.

POST-HARDCORE/SCREAMO. This split LP features Slovenia's PAPERPLANCRASH and The Czech Republic's REMEK. PAPERPLANCRASH play a great style of music that incorporates elements of emo and post-hardcore within their sound. For those unfamiliar with the band PAPERPLANCRASH play 5 tracks in a similar fashion such as CHILD MEADOW, 12XU, and BATON ROGUE. The flipside 4 songs on this split come courtesy of REMEK. They offer up a tense, urgent, and discordant style of screamo tinged post-hardcore. REMEK reminds of bands such as BRITO and DAITRO. Overall, this is a killer split LP, with each band offering up top material. Packed in a d.i.y. screen-printed cover with huge booklet.
