METALCORE. "reverence" arrives as the follow-up to 2015's "ire" - PARKWAY DRIVE's most successful album to date and a major force in boosting their ever-growing worldwide following. But while "ire" brought PARKWAY DRIVE's uncompromising artistry to bold new levels, "reverence" pushes their creative ambition even further. "reverence" both expands the band's sonic palette and offers up their most devastating songs yet. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

GRINDCORE. PARLAMENTARISK SODOMI, PSUDOKU, and now BxSxR - yet another grind creation brought to us by the Norwegian master of one-man bands. The concept behind the music of BxSxR is a story that would make Frank Zappa proud. All the lyrics were written by a failed experiment created by Norwegian scientists when they attempted to make humans out of pigs. Ultra fast hardcore grind/powerviolence with crazy lyrics! PARLAMENTARISK SODOMI - as usual - balls to the wall grind with no need for shiny production or unnecessary breakdowns and one hell of a vocal style.

POST/PROGRESSIVE-ROCK. If there is one constant with PARLOUR, it is that nothing is ever the same. For nigh 2 decades, the Louisville experimental troupe has relentlessly evolved in subtle but substantial ways. This consistent creative movement keeps the sound of PARLOUR forever curious, and impossible to predict. On the band's "self-titled" 4th album, PARLOUR pushes ferocious, dynamic guitar rock to the brink with hypnotic repetition and shifting, stabbing rhythms. With a reduced instrumental palette and increased focus on beats and riffs, the songs are more naked and intense - equal parts crashing kraut-rock, and crushing prog-rock. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST/PROGRESSIVE-ROCK. "simulacrenfield" rearranges the vision set forth in previous PARLOUR releases, utilizing the septet for all it’s worth. The songs are tighter, heavier, and more melodically complex than ever before - no doubt partly contributed to the addition of Jon Cook (CRAIN, RODAN) on drums, and Breck Pipes (CEREBELLUM) on guitar. The rhythm section in a tight pocket while the guitars, keyboards and brass section trade sharp melodies and chugging riffs. Imagine a heavier, more disturbing NEU! with more unexpected twists and turns (and that’s just the jumping-off point). Vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-PUNK. PART 1 formed in 1980 and, alongside RUDIMENTARY PENI and CRASS, were part of the original London anarcho -punk scene, ultimately disbanding after playing a show with Subhumans in 1983. The band's only vinyl release during this time was the "funeral parade" MLP released in a limited run of 300 copies in 1982. As well as an anarcho-punk classic, the record is now regarded as a seminal death-rock release, largely due to the dark, heavy, flanged guitar work, morbid images and anti-religious lyrical themes. This very special reissue finally sees this lost classic receiving a long-deserved quality release: a remastered vinyl in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with accompanying horror zine "i...paraworm", packed with never-seen text and unpublished art from the pen of guitarist Mark Ferelli, all contemporaneous to the 1982 release.

POST-PUNK. Brooklyn outfit PARTS & LABOR has dramatically altered their wall-of-sound: Their 4th album, "receivers", finds PARTS & LABOR using on open spaces, longer movements, expansive arrangements and loftier goals. On 8 epic tracks, "receivers" showcases the band's catchiest and darkest moods to date, reveling in a growing dynamic sensibility only hinted at in their previous work. They are now utilizing the full possibilities of a band that was once a scrappy punk trio, and now a mature art-rock quartet. It's a heady mix of psych, noise, and pop influenced by the arty minimalism of WIRE, the surreal pop of early ENO, and even the spaced out psychedelia of "dark side"-era PINK FLOYD.

POST-PUNK. "constant future" is the career-defining statement from Brooklyn-based noise-pop trio PARTS & LABOR. The album's 12 tracks deliver the bare essentials that made them sui generis totems of modern art-punk: synthesized keyboard riffs distorted into oblivion, percussion pummeled hypnotically, crackling drones that haunt and soothe, fearless melodies hollered skyward. Thw 5th album "constant future" finds them crashing back to earth, focusing pointedly on what they do best: unique, electronic landscapes melded with buzzing, anthemic hooks. PARTS & LABOR have distilled the lessons and experiences of nearly 10 years as a band into a catchy, blown-out masterwork. LP includes MP3 download card.

HARDCORE. PARTY BY THE SLICE are Milwaukee's crushing d-beating, pizza eating, hardcore ripping jerks. Very much a faster version of the crusty bands you love. Talented, attractive, and tougher than leather. MALPARIDO represents the great country of New Zealand but blasts those sheep-sheering stereotypes out of the water. Non-stop LOS CRUDOS and LIMP WRIST worship blasting.

POST-ROCK/INSTRUMENTAL. It is the individuals that compose PAS CHIC CHIC that best define the originality, energy and identity of the band. All the band members have come very different yet illustrious musical backgrounds that have morphed into the unique sound that makes PAS CHIC CHIC (featuring members of GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR, CURSED, A SILVER MT. ZIONLEM IN MY HEART, COBRA NOIR, THE BLACK HAND, and IRE). Their fractured melodies, cinematic arrangements, driving rhythms and retro-futuristic synths simultaneously bring to mind psychedelia, shoegaze and tropicalia. This is pop music with one foot in the past and the other, way into the distant future. Comes on 180gr wax and contains the MP3 download code!

PUNK-ROCK. Three years after "nächster halt...", the guys let their new album on water, which has become something like her masterpiece. The Saarlanders have managed to create their own style, which is unmistakable: 99% punk-rock, which sounds pretty mature and offers intelligent, direct lyrics (almost all in German). The feeling for good melodies they have, the slower pieces are more influenced by melancholy (EA80), Thick 180gr vinyl comes with 12-page booklet and includes a digital download card.

PUNK-ROCK. The 5th longplayer of PASCOW, "serve the party" turns out to be the 1st paskovesk. German-speaking punk-rock, fast, hard, honest and direct. Expanding established qualities, discovering new ones - this is how you could summarize the longplayer with 15 songs. Where texts have been coded more strongly in earlier works, clear statements are the focus today. This musical familiarity, the sound we have been recognizing directly from PASCOW for more than 15 years. An extremely multi-faceted album.

PUNK-ROCK. No PASCOW record was so tangible, focused, and to the point. With "jade" the band leaves a genre that had shaped them in recent years. PASCOW have recorded an album that will trigger at least amazement and maybe even unbelief in the scene of German-speaking punk-rock. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

Punk-Rock. New edition of PASCOW's 3rd album. With this album, the band changed their sound at some central points. "nächster halt gefliester boden" is for many the most combative and best album of the band. Colored (mint) vinyl is limited to 500 copies, includes a thick booklet and a digitial download card.

PUNK-ROCK. PASS AWAY was formed in 2014 in Brooklyn, NY by Mike and Kellen (I AM THE AVALANCHE), and Eric (CRIME IN STEREO). The band is 3 dudes who play punk-rock and don't really give a shit about anything. Their debut, "hey death", features fast punk-rock that throws back to your favorite Fat Wreck bands of the '90s. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.
