GARAGE-PUNK-ROCK. Among cognoscenti of the era, this Toronto unit are known for one of the great lost 7"s of early Canadian punk. Filtering the clear inspiration of mid '60s WHO and KINKS through the aggressive delivery of such contemporaries as THE JAM and THE CLASH, THE MODS honed their attack into an unstoppable rush, hard-edged but melodic, and began working on a planned major label LP that never did materialise. This LP includes the 7" and highlights of the aborted album session; hyperbole aside, it's an astonishingly good record, and one of the best we'll ever release.

HARDCORE-PUNK. The big, ugly rock machine rears its disgusted head out in a 17min. fit of speed and beat. MOGNOLOID plays to the tune of you spilling your drink as you fumble for your footing. Blitzed-out guitars play in an echo of this world's upset youth - bringing a giant wake up call to the vapid and empty headed rather than the more common "ma and pa screw off". Yeah, some how that collosal man with a skin head found a marching whistle and the beat to back it all up in this upset display of hardcore-punk played the way it was meant to be. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

INSTRUMENTAL/POST-ROCK. "atomic", the 2016 album by Scottish experimental-rock legends MOGWAI, is composed of reworked versions of the music recorded for the soundtrack to director Mark Cousins' acclaimed documentary "atomic: iiving in dread and promise", which 1st aired on BBC. Constructed entirely of archive film, "atomic" is an impressionistic kaleidoscope of the horrors of our nuclear times - protest marches, cold war sabre-rattling, Chernobyl and Fukishima. MOGWAI's soundtrack encapsulates the nightmare of the nuclear age but its dreamlike qualities too. It is the latest in the band's series of impressive soundtracks and scores. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

INSTRUMENTAL/POST-ROCK. "every country's sun" takes 2 decades of MOGWAI's signature, contrasting sounds - towering intensity, pastoral introspection, synth-rock minimalism, DNA-detonating volume - and distills it, beautifully, into 56min. of gracious elegance, hymnal trance-rock and transcendental euphoria. It's a structural soundscape built from stark foundations up; from a gentle, twinkling, synth-rock spectre to a solid, blown-out, skyward-thrusting obelisk. Their most transportive album yet, it also hosts their most fully realized art-pop singalong of their storied history, Thick 180gr double vinyl includes a digital download card.

SLUDGE/STONER-ROCK. MOHO from Madrid/Spain is a three piece juggernaut of dirt head rock fury - so ferocious they give seasoned rockers like HIGH ON FIRE, EYEHATEGOD, ELECTRIC WIZARD and GRIEF a serious run for the (drug) money. "chotacabra" is a furious groovy sludge rock jam, a stoned stumble through the garden at midnight. Many of the songs start with big fat riffs, slowly building into some serious sludgy groove, drifting way off, gradually working up to a loping midtempo, before dragging it back down into the murk. Comes with gatefold cover and on thick vinyl!

SLUDGE/STONER-ROCK. Six tracks clocking at almost 50 min., starting on where "20 unas" left off, overwhelming the listener just from the very first guitar feedback. These tracks submerge you deep inside a trance of its own, in a mantric loop of repeats, explorations, and all possible variations of the same riff. Reviews linking them to heavy hitters (both in sound and attitude) such as ELECTRIC WIZARD, BONGZILLA, BLACK SABBATH and HIGH ON FIRE.

GARAGE-ROCK. Hiding in the night-shrouded lagoons of Venice, THE MOJOMATICS take up your love with taut sails and undeniable spirit of youth. This is a two-piece jack-off-all-trades lineup and they hit the shit big time. Here is “a sweet mama gonna hoodoo me” - 16 swampy blues encrusted punk tunes with a lot of rootsy pop harmonies and rambling country-esque edges. The whole slop was produced on their own. They have the punk drive, kept up with the songwriting craftsmanship this is exactly what we needed now.

LP 15.00€*

GARAGE-ROCK. THE MOJOMATICS heap together hillbilly blues, old country, folk and bluegrass, inject it with the melody of British Invasion pop, and fire it all out with the breakneck energy of the best garage/punk/rock 'n' roll. The duo's playing it tight and electric and sounds like there's 5 of them, not just two! Taking all of these well-tread musical elements and somehow make them sound as fresh, current and exciting as any new thing the hipster pundits are selling these days. Song after song on this album is catchier than the clap and guaranteed to get you smiling, dancing and feeling totaly great about life!

HARDCORE. Degenerate hardcore from Toronto. After a number of line up changes MOLESTED YOUTH deliver their debut 7" which blends the stomping in-your-face hardcore with the loose velocity of Boston classics like DEEP WOUND. This debut is raw as hell recorded; courtesy of Jonah Falco which only adds to the beating.

SLUDGE/DOOM-METAL/HARDCORE. ENSORCELOR come with 1 long track of creeping black-doom. Slower and bleak but still keeping that fine melody. This is some of the sickest music you've heard so far. MOLOCH on the other side come with their signature EYEHATEGOD powerplay. Incredibly heavy and without any happiness to it. Put a gun in your mouth and pull the trigger.

LP 7.00€*

SLUDGE-HARDCORE/METAL. Blasting blackened doom dark metal. Combining ambient noise, synths and harsh atmospheric ear terror. Dark and raw production leave this with a old school metal taste which is very well accepted. Ukraine and Poland come together to leave you in the dark, with a scared taste in your mouth. Hail the darkness.

POST-HARDCORE. MOMENTUM formed in 2011, featuring members of LIGHT BEARER, FALL OF EFRAFA and PLAGUE MASS. This is the 2nd album by this outstanding band. MOMENTUM is playing driving, melodic and pissed off hardcore, both crushing and uplifting, ignoring sub-genres and getting back to the basics of why we love fast political music. Deluxe 180gr pressing comes with heavy cover and huge booklet.

LP 12.00€*

POST-HARDCORE. The UK’s MOMENTUM, the new melodic hardcore band featuring former FALL OF EFRAFA and current LIGHT BEARER vocalist Alex. The record is more akin to FALL OF EFRAFA - in simply that there’s more pace that recalls 2006’s "owsla" effort. MOMENTUM sprawl across varying moods and tones but they're all bound by one simple facet: aggression. "whetting occam's razor" is belligerent and unruly, only with brief reprieves scattered throughout. MOMENTUM is still billed as a melodic hardcore band, and melody is here is spades. Riffs are plentiful and the adrenaline soaked aggression, melody and grandeur is palpable.

LP 12.00€*

NOISE-HARDCORE/PUNK. Debut full-length from this NYC band. Disturbed ,emotional and beautiful lyrics about growing up locked in a new york physchiatric hospital. Catchy and filthy sounding, amazing record. MOMMY are definitely more on the avant-garde end of the Toxic State sound. Screen printed sleeve and giant poster captures the aesthetics and feeling of the record.

LP 17.50€*

DOOM/POST-METAL. Like some behemoth from fathomless depths , MONACHUS wake from their slumber, each great limb pulled from silt and brine, collapsing upon the earth with waves of sonic sludge. Where their previous album "out of the blue" resonated with crushing vibrance, "below" echoes with an eery intention, siren calls sound out against a squall of guitars, ominous walls of percussion leer like an impending deluge. Mesmeric and psychedelic, "below" is a bellowing, primordial incantation for that which lies beneath. Thick 180gr vinyl comes housed in a heavy cover and includes a poster inlay and a digital download card.
