SINGER/SONGWRITER. "beast epic", IRON AND WINE's 4th album of new material for Sub Pop and it's 6th overall, recasts soft power as a series of vignettes, observations and regular old songs that redeem through joy and a certain expectation of grace. Sam Beam has called "beast epic" his most personal album to date. It is the 1st IRON AND WINE album that he's produced since "the creek drank the cradle", though the results are vastly different. This album brims with surprise flourishes, classic touches and an appealing confidence. Deluxe re-issue on colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

SINGER/SONGWRITER. This reissue features the original album, plus 8 previously unreleased demo versions and a 12-page booklet with an essay about the album. Sam Beam, aka IRON AND WINE, released "our endless numbered days", his 2nd album originally in 2004. It followed his hushed, literate, intimate, melodic, 2002 debut album, "the creek drank the cradle", a quiet treasure which, with its unaffected candor and depth, found fans all over. Deluxe re-issue on colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

SINGER/SONGWRITER. IRON AND WINE's most ambitious and accomplished recording to date, and also the most satisfying. This whole album breathes. Its seductive rhythms percolate and undulate. Sam Beam returns as IRON AND WINE with another 12 tracks of hushed acoustic folk on his 3rd full-length for Sub Pop. "the shepherd's dog" is set to thrust IRON AND WINE into the upper crust of American folk artists. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

SINGER/SONGWRITER. IRON AND WINE follow up their 2018 full-length "beast epic" with "weed garden", a collection of material that began about 3 years ago. The 6-song record features songs that were part of the writing phase for "beast epic", but went unfinished. No more, no less. "weed garden" joins the good company of previous IRON AND WINE releases and in 2018s attention-span challenged world that's not a bad thing. Colored and limited "loser edition" includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE. The IRON BOOTS "complete discography" LP is a 20-song collection containing every recording the band had released. For the uninitiated, IRON BOOTS hailed from Virginia Beach and were most active from 2004-2006 before playing their final show in Richmond in 2008. With their hi-impact, fuck-your-attitude delivery and NYC hardcore influenced songwriting (open your eyes, they sounded exactly like WARZONE), the BOOTS were one of few contemporary hardcore bands that were able to take influence from classic hardcore-punk and successfully make it their own. In their short career, IRON BOOTS managed to churn out a 8 song demo, two 7"s and 2 tracks for a Revelation Records compilation - all of which are featured on this release - remastered for full effect. The release also features brand new cover art by Spoiler and includes both a printed inner sleeve and double-sided lyric sheet/poster. IRON BOOTS took pride in maintaining a classic "if it ain't broke don't fix it" approach to hardcore in both songwriting and aesthetic. The end result being, as proven on this reissue, a timeless recorded and visual output that still maintains a fresh and vital feel more than a decade later. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE-PUNK. IRON CAGES' "indulgence" 7" is the latest from this DC hardcore-punk quartet. After a string of tapes, this is their 1st vinyl release and their best to date. Featuring members of FIREWALKER and a number of broken up bands, they rip through 5 songs on "indulgence". Pummeling drums drive this record from the start, while the riffs are straight forward hardcore punk with enough flourishes to keep things interesting. Oh, and the vocals are scorching too. They are most comfortable playing as fast as possible, but slow things down into mosh inducing crawls.

POP-PUNK-ROCK. IRON CHIC's new record is 2 things: both the same as previous releases, and absolutely incomparable to them. The IRON CHIC cultivated a driving and infectious sound packed with so many singalong choruses and who-oh-ohs that it's hard not to want to dive in and be a part of the action. There's no punchline, no immediate silver-lining. Vinyl are housed in an awesome cover with gold gold foil embossing and includes a digital download card.

POP-PUNK-ROCK. Long Island punks IRON CHIC displays a sort of growth one might not expect from a quintet of time-fearing, sparsely-toheavily bearded gentlemen. The band's 1st batch of material since a couple of Europe-only releases in 2011, "spooky action" features 2 exponentially excellent originals and BUTTHOLE SURFERS and RAMONES covers. For fans of LATTERMANN and RUMSPRINGER. Colored (blue) vinyl includes a digital download card.

POP-PUNK-ROCK. To coincide with their 1st Australian tour, New York's IRON CHIC and Poison City are teaming up to release a new limited edition 7". Spewing forth more of the infectious, self-deprecating punk-indie-rock brilliance that IRON CHIC have become renowned for, the 2 brand new tracks pick up exactly where "the constant one" album left off. Also includes a cover of DEAD KENNEDYS "dog bite" as the second b-Side.

POP/GARAGE-PUNK. IRON CHIC - Fucking fantastic existential, anthemic, and melodic punk-rock. This is their 1st release since their well received "the constant one" LP. Ex-members of LATTERMAN, SMALL ARMS DEALER and more. One of these songs is a b-side from "the constant one" too. LOW CULTURE - released their debut "screens" on Dirtnap Records. Features members of MARKED MAN and SHANG-A-LANG, and sounds pretty much like a cross between the 2 bands, with the former's distinct songwriting style mashed together with the latter's tighter, cleaner performances. These recordings are the results of the band's 1st trip into a pro recording studio, sounding cleaner but no less effective than past material. Vinyl comes with download card.

POP-PUNK-ROCK. Recess presents a split for the ages. ION CHIC brings forth 4 new songs taken straight off the cutting room floor of their last album, "you can't stay here". TOYS THAT KILL slays it with 5 songs that were supposed to be part of their next album... but since they are the best band in punk-rock today, Recess asked them to split a 12" with IRON CHIC and they contributed the songs onto this fine piece of wax instead. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

METAL-PUNK. After countless demos and chaotic performances in squats and sleazy bars IRON FIST from Los Angeles, California finally got their 1st proper full-length. This lot is as thirsty and as pissed off as their previous releases - and among its 10 tracks of intense rock 'n'rolling. So INEPSY, CHILDREN OF TECHNOLOGY, SPEEDWOLF and of course MÖTORHEAD fans, put your boots on, a six-pack out of the fridge and get ready to get fucked!

LP 14.00€*

DOOM-METAL. After releasing a 3 song demo in 2012 Viennas IRON HEEL are back with their 1st full-length album - 5 songs - 45min. - one title: "book of grief". Huge, epic riffs meet sludge-infested rhytms that will drag you to the black pits while retaining a heavy sense of groove. The powerful vocals are full of blues-oriented harmonies but will also lash out with hoarse growls if the song calls for it. Lyrics-wise IRON HEEL keep it classic: they clear the forest of corpses and keep the sleepwalkers at bay while you can listen to the death rattle of walled in monks. Join them for tales of ritual mummification, hungry ghosts and open graves. Spread the gospel of doom! For Fans of SERPENT VENOM, GOATSNAKE or ST. VITUS. Vinyl comes with great artwork, thick inside-out cover, black innersleeve, lyricsheet and includes a digital download card. [PK 066]
