THRASH-HARDCORE. "non fiction" is 5 brand new scorchers from Tokyo thrash unit FLIPOUT A.A.. Featuring ex-members of LIE, FLIPOUT A.A. invoke the roots of high-speed Japanese thrash-punk, reminiscent of late-'80s speedcore like DEADLESS MUSS and SxIxC, all infused with a healthy dose of ganja and beer. Limited to 500 copies - released just in time for their US-Tour.

NOISE-PUNK-ROCK. Originally released in 1986 as a DoLP of live material culled from 1980-85. The sound quality and playing are both a grimy, distorted mess, which suits the band just fine. Always alternating between endearing and abrasive FLIPPER left no room for the middle ground of "like". The album title is a shot at John Lydon (Minor Threat) and his alleged plagiarism of FLIPPER's artwork for his own PIL and it proves that the band was never opposed to alienating its audience, no matter how sanctified. Harsh, art-rock classics from one of San Francisco's most important post-hippy era bands.

FOLK-PUNK. "drunken lullabies" is the FLOGGING MOLLY's follow up to their 2000 release, "swagger" and offers up 12 tracks from this, the best folk-punk act since THE POGUES. This record is nothing short of explosive, brutally sincere, or excellent. The quintessential FLOGGING MOLLY album. A must own for all FLOGGING MOLLY fans.

FOLK-PUNK. FLOGGING MOLLY’s songs are just as much about a man at odds with his country as THE CLASH’s "combat rock". The addition of banjos, tin whistles and accordions both amplify the traditional Celtic nature of the band and create a cacophony of sound. There are 2 types of songs on "float" and in FLOGGING MOLLY’s canon in general. You have your fast and loud cuts, pumped to raise a pint and singalong. Song type 2 are your acoustic dirges, designed to slow down the pace and draw and audience in to…well, lift a pint and sing along. If you are tired of the “commercial” sound, and ready to give real music with both something to say and a unique means of saying it a try, FLOGGING MOLLY is for you.

FOLK-PUNK. FLOGGING MOLLY feel timeless though they sing of the issues pressing on our collective conscience today: from politics and the economy to unemployment and immigration. With a keen eye for social commentary but always a beautiful orchestration that forces toes to tap, they are a band who continually drop anchor in the melodic celtic folk pool. Wonderfully upbeat despite some heavy realities, FLOGGING MOLLY paint a broad picture with the enchanting "life is good".

"swagger", produced by Steve Albini, expresses the enrgy and angst of the Irish through pungent lyrics and Guiness filled lungs. PROGRESSIVE-HARDCORE/METAL. FLOOR broke up (for serious) shortly after this album was originally released, creating a die hard cult-following for their inevitable return many years later. FLOOR singer/guitar player Steve Brooks went on to form TORCHE shortly after FLOOR disbanded. Like the sound of heaven collapsing, FLOOR prematurely left us with this brilliant monolith of a thunderous yet soaring doom-sludge-pop-rock hybrid, that nothing before or after has truly compared to. The self-titled FLOOR album was and is the stuff of legends. A magnificent merging of the best elements from heavy to catchy, FLOOR's legacy was not founded on this album, but was forged with it. THis is the 3rd pressing, 550 on dark-red vinyl.

HARDCORE. "fast times at the jersey shore" is the only LP from New Jersey hardcore legends FLOORPUNCH and was released in 1998 on Equal Vision Records. They were at the forefront of the late-'90s straight-edge revival along with bands like IN MY EYES and TEN YARD FIGHT, and were influenced by the late-'80s Revelation Records scene. This record has been out-of-print on vinyl for years with original copies being highly sought after.

HARDCORE. This record collects the "division one champs" 7" and "goal line stand" demo from New Jersey's FLOORPUNCH. The LP was originally released in 1997 and has been out-of-print ever since. This album is beyond greatness, an aerial assault upon the senses. FLOORPUNCH became one of the most popular live hardcore bands on the East-Coast.

POST-PUNK. Vancouver BC’s FLOWERS & FIRE play sleek, powerful and brooding goth-tinged post-punk with nods to the CHAMELEONS, DEATH CULT. Driving Rickenbaker basslines, solid drums, angular guitars and a moody, soaring and ethereal frontwoman in Izzi Kearns combine for a pair of killer and unashamedly melodic tunes. Silk-varnish sleeve, 2 tracks remastered from their demo.

HARDCORE-PUNK. For a side-project, FLOWERS OF EVIL outpaces and out snots like the best of them. What started as more of less a studio-project has turned into a band that has delivered not one but 2 solid hardcore-punk albums. "city of fear" is their 2nd album and showcases a band that’s very comfortable with their punk roots and can deliver some classic sounding snotty hardcore jams. Reminiscent of early CARRER SUICIDE, "city of fear" blends the high velocity in-your-face sound of 1st era hardcore like THE GERMS with a good dose of melody to keep things catchy and infectious. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Punk and New York City go together like dorks and records. It is what it is. FLOWERS OF EVIL is a punk band from New York City, but listening to its self-titled debut LP on Deranged, you would think this band couldn’t be from anywhere near NYC. Pulling influences from THE GERMS to RUDIMENTARY PENI to THE VSS, the musicians craft a sound that is more than just a tribute to confrontational punk bands of the past - it’s a sound all their own. Each song is a ripper. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

POWER-VIOLENCE/GRIND-HARDCORE. The debut full-length from this grinding power-violence trio from Philadelphia. Pulsing emotional dirges punctuated by jagged shards of caustic blasts and interludes of disintegrating noise. Deterioration of the senses in a desolate world helplessly slipping through the cracks of the lightless void. Second pressing in coke-bottle clear color vinyl.

LPcol 11.50€*

GRINDCORE/POWER-VIOLENCE. FLVX CAPACITOR continue their spree of punishing, bone-splintering grindcore with this split 7” with Chicago’s GNARLY DEATH. With nearly a decade of grinding under their belt, FLVX CAPACITOR are like a well-oiled machine at this point. This a band raised on proper '90s grindcore, but have put their own stamp on it. GNARLY DEATH are a newer band, but you wouldn’t know that listening to them. Slightly more power-violence in sound than the all-out grind of the flipside, this two-piece delivers pure sonic abrasiveness in the form of 7 hard-hitting start-and-stop songs with crazy drum rolls and vocals that alternate between growled, screeched and constipated.
