THRASH-HARDCORE/METAL. This is a legendary professionally recorded show D.R.I. did on their "crossover" tour back on June 27th, 1987 at the Ritz in New York. Not only was this professionally recorded, but the sound was also re-stored and re-mastered for this release.

HARDCORE. It's 1984, D.R.I. had just gotten back from the "rock against reagan" U.S. tour opening for M.D.C. and the DEAD KENNEDYS. Once they perfected their new songs, they recorded the "violent pacification" 7" which would be D.R.I.'s next release and done in conjuntion with R Radical Records. Now after being out of print for 26 years, Beer City Records is going to reissue "violent pacification" in its original 7" format.

PUNK-ROCK. California's DAD BRAINS unveiled their self-titled debut 7". This Southern California-based band of punk-rock dads is comprised of ex-members of NO MOTIV, THE MISSNING 23RD, CREEP DIVISION, and THE FUCKING WRATH. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

INDIE/EMO-ROCK. It always feels a little unjust to grasp a listener's attention based on a band member's current or previous work with another artist, but the forthcoming 7" will put an end to Elliot Babin's connection as the drummer of TOUCHE AMORE, as it has the power to make DAD PUNCHERS a household name. Babin writing deeply personal and often charming songs about the struggles of young adulthood that anyone can relate to. Taking cues from THE WEAKERTHANS and a range of No Idea Records alumni, DAD PUNCHERS is a look into who Elliot Babin really is as a musician, and songwriter. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

GARAGE-PUNK-ROCK. DADAR is the solo project of Lorenzo, who already gave birth to his genious hooks at bands like SHITTY LIFE or LEFT IN RUINS. This time, he's alone while combining all his sins together for a bunch of brandnew bubblegum-KBD-punk-smasher after his highly appreciated demo tape. Imagine a baby between DEVO and JAY REATARD on Krok spitting blood on some Frank Zappa records. Out of Italy you'll get 4 songs, that are full of hate against this goddamn noodle dish called pasta.

POST-PUNK. Tampa's favorite DADS (featuring 2 of the members of MERCHANDISE) return with their unique brand of retardo-rock, this time as an amalgamation of twee pop, noise-rock, post-punk, and dub over the course of 4 mind-boggling songs. Sounds like FREE KITTEN fronted by a bear.

INDIE-ROCK. Remember "pretty good"? That’s where DADS jammed tracks of indie-heavy, math-ridden, emo-punk into your nervous system. "i'll be the tornado", is the follow-up to the duo's highly acclaimed 2013 release and marks a decidedly more diverse approach to songwriting for the band. "i’ll be the tornado" is the perfect sequel to this as it matches "pretty good" stride for stride and further envelopes you in John Bradley’s tragedies. In terms of d.i.y. indie, DADS bring it again. In spades. This is a powerful album that’ll move you in the most melodic of manners. Vinyl version includes download code.

INDIE-ROCK. New Jersey's DADS made a splash with their debut full-length, "american radass" in 2012, so it's no wonder their newest release, "pretty good", would up the ante. This impressive, 4-song effort marks a shift of sorts for the duo though, yet still sees them maintaining the hook-laden songwriting they've become known for creating. DADS is showing no sign of letting up and "pretty good" is seemingly just a taste of what they have in store for fans. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

EMO-HARDCORE. This 7" features 2 songs by DAG NASTY recorded with Ian MacKaye and Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios in 2015. For this session, the band returned to its original lineup: guitarist Brian Baker, singer Shawn Brown, bassist Roger Marbury and drummer Colin Sears. These 2 songs mark the 1st time this lineup has been in the studio together since 1985. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

EMO-HARDCORE. "dag with shawn" was recorded on Halloween day, 1985 and features the original line-up of the band with Shawn Brown on vocals. In early 1986, the band re-recorded the entire album with new vocalist Dave Smalley and released it as "can i say". This original session has only been previously available as partial out-takes and unauthorized bootlegs and, until now, has never been released in its complete form. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

EMO-HARDCORE. Originally released in 1987, this classic album was remastered and recut and features updated graphics. Certain songs on here actually sound like they could have belonged on "can i say" but other songs show an obvious progression with Baker using Doug's different vocal style to try something different. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Six sonic blasts that harken back to the days when there was no hardcore that wasn’t punk 1st and the players could actually play. Where whip-smart hooks at speed were as necessary as brute power when it came to matching bark with bite. A glass ceiling that hasn’t felt but a fingerprint in the accelerated nuance-void, but DAGGER make a great showing. When you factor in CONEHEADS and LIQUIDS members, the success makes clear sense.
