SXE-HARDCORE.A CHORUS OF DISAPPROVAL formed out of frustration to the hectic and undisciplined punk scene. Taking cues from the more extreme East-Coast hardcore bands mixed with their own groove and style, the CHORUS would arguably be the blueprint for the burgeoning, West-Coast, militant straight-edge scene. Originally released 30 years ago on the formative Nemesis Records, "truth gives wings to strength" became an instant classic that has gone on to influence countless bands. Colored (silver) vinyl is limited to 350 copies and includes a digital download card.

POP-PUNK. A LOSS FOR WORDS bid adieu with this final full-length. PUNK-ROCK. The amazing A PAGE OF PUNK from Japan are back with their new 49 song album! A PAGE OF PUNK are a frighteningly explosive, 100% energy, raw punk-rock band from Tokyo. Formed in 2001, they have played a prominent and hugely active role in the Japanese underground scene for over 12 years. Their short and fast manic punk-rock aligns perfectly with abrasive vocals covering issues mainly concerned with political/social injustice and also about just how god-damn much they love punk-rock!

POST/NOISE-PUNK. Yes, "onwards to the wall" packs every bit of the searing sonic maelstrom listeners have come to expect from A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS. Yet, the adroit songcraft that's always been there is brought more the fore, pop hooks are repurposed and more instantly recognizable. A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS proves that they have not only been leading that charge for some time now, but that they are also evolving and maturing on those front lines. "onwards to the wall" is a fresh, complete artistic statement from APTBS. It's a new chapter, a prelude for what awaits us on the horizon. It is a taste of greatness to come.

POST/NOISE-PUNK. Their 5th full-length finds A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS difficult moments into some of their most urgent work to date. The noise-rock outlaws exist in a dimension of their own, fusing punishing, abrasive frequencies with moments of lucid melodic clarity. There's a sense of paranoia running through the songwriting that could only come from A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS. This album definitely does explore some new territory. It may alienate some current fans, but welcome new ones into the fold at the same time. Vinyl includes a digital download card.
