BLACK-METAL/EXPERIMENTAL. The 8-song, 36-min. debut from DODSLEIE features in its ranks Rob Orr (UNREAL CITY, INTEGRITY), Niklas Holm (BROKEN CROSS, EXTERMINATION TEMPLE), and Brent Bubash exploring precisely the style of black-metal you'll prefer. Neither too raw, nor overly polished. Fast, but not to a fault - countered by just the right amount of crawling, atmospheric dissonance. Relatively tried-and-true, yet expressive - with an experimental edge to boot.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Featuring former and current members of such bands as PORTRAYAL OF GUILT, MOTHMAN, and THIEVES, DRIP-FED 1st got together in 2014, releasing a demo that same year. With a sound that encompasses influences from several corners of the punk and rock spectrum, the band's "sickened kind" (2015) and "under the wave blanket" (2017) releases hit tough in the hardcore lane groups like MODERN LIFE IS WAR like to explore, but there's also an overall hookiness that brings to mind Sub Pop during its glory years. Now their debut ful-length deliver fast hardcore-punk cocktail - THE BRONX meets MODERN LIFE IS WAR and early FUCKED UP. Tape is limited to 100 copies. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE. "one way track", the long-awaited follow up to END IT's 2017 self-titled demo. "one way track" displays a more mature and focused band. However, these recent developments have not tamed the band in any way; in fact, they are more in touch with their surroundings than ever before, and express their mentality with an urgency and aggression that is sorely missing from today's hardcore scene. Tape includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE. END IT walks down the path their Baltimore forefathers paved. Sonically reminiscent of the golden era of that harder, early-'90s East-Coast sound and with lyrics that are unapologetically real, this release takes the listener to a dark, Baltimore city alley way. POST-HARDCORE. Remnants from the bloated corpse of the once-beloved PLATES, FACILITY MEN provide the outside world a glimpse into the morose psyche of Buffalo. The thinking man’s soundtrack for a working man’s town. Much like the riff-driven, post-hardcore, alt-rock acts of the early '90s, these 'MEN play fast and loose with a unique style of discordant-yet-melodic asound. This sounds like the missing link in the Queen City’s garage-punk and hardcore scenes of yore. These songs are remixed and re-mastered from the original demos that saw a very limited run, including an additional exclusive track from the band’s inaugural demo session.

HARDCORE-PUNK. While one should hesitate to use the term super group, it would be kinda hard to not consider utilizing some kind of label in that vein in regards to Portland, Oregon's FETISH. For starters if we're gonna talk about genre altering personnel within the ranks of this group, you'd have to note that this recording showcases the 1st that Thee Slayer Hippy and Vegetable have come together to create ugly hardcore-punk music since their stint together in the "war all the time" era of the legendary POISON IDEA 3 decades ago. It also doesn't hurt that 3/4 of PDX punk heroes LONG KNIFE are in the mix as well along with later era PI guitarist Brandon Bentley. Vinyl includes a digital download card.
