SXE-HARDCORE. Pissed-off hardcore with a positive message. In 1986, UNDERDOG vocalist Richie Birkenhead joined the band on 2nd guitar. With this lineup, the 1st YOUTH OF TODAY full-length album was recorded, entitled "break down the walls". Pioneers of modern hardcore. They made straight-edge more than just a song. Completely remastered and remixed, this classic album finally sounds as good as it should. Available again with the original Wishingwell Records layout. HARDCORE-PUNK. From 1979 into 1983, the Indianapolis based ZERO BOYS were the finest hardcore blitz in the Midwest if not all the lower 48 states. Proof is "vicious circle" and the 2 decades since of copyists, bootleggers, practitioners and reunion concert pogoers. Though before and after that LP's 1982 release they recorded the "livin' in the '80s" 7", songs for 3 comps and released the post-mortem "history of.." tape. Those tracks not on the "vicious circle" LP all appear on this collection. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

PUNK-ROCK. "monkey" is the 1st ZERO BOYS album in 20 years! Songs about sex change, devils, monkeys, and your mom fucking shit up: Indiana is a world where the waters of guitar based rock 'n' roll still run deep and fresh. The men in this band all grew up listening to rock radio and they still believe the electric guitar is the ultimate weapon against boredom. "monkey" arrives more than 20 years after the last release and it picks right up where ZERO BOYS left off: music recorded by grown-ass men with the average mental age of a 12-year-old boy. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE-PUNK. It came out of nowhere in 1982, this hardcore fireball with the bright yellow sleeve. In one sense, the ZERO BOYS' "vicious circle" was yet another example of how US hardcore seemed to peak coast to coast that year. But unlike most coastal punk, the ZERO BOYS were pointing the way to a scene that could accommodate heaping helpings of melody, intelligence, and rock 'n' roll, not just turbo-charged ferocity. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE/METAL. "in fear of forever" is the debut album of this German band and it's a real killer! ZERO MENTALITY are coming straight to your face and take no prisoners. The music is pissed off and in the vein of bands like MADBALL and BORN FROM PAIN, and the 10 songs on this record blow you out of your armchair. This is a must have for everyone into mettalic and rockish hardcore.

HARDCORE/METAL. "invite your soul" is the 2nd full-length by ZERO MENTALITY. It has been about 2 years since “this is the beginning” saw daylight. In the meantime ZERO MENTALITY have grown and evolved. The first thing that struck was the fact that ZERO MENTALITY doesn’t really sound hardcore anymore. “invite your soul” has become more a blend of rock, metal, hardcore and punk. The 11 songs on this album, clocking in at 44min. and this band has got a very own sound and they really try to do something different. If you always were into music that is fresh, diverse, heavy, crazy or emotional you should make "invite your soul" your next choice.

HARDCORE. The final statement of Hamburg's ZEROID. Well, they got together one last time to record 8 depressive, dark and brutal tracks of their own! The record was produced by Dirk Kusche (Kuschelrock fame). All over the record they create a dark and devastating mood with a crushing wall of sound as well as short melodic pieces that are over and over again interrupted by their shattering darkness of cutting guitar riffs and punishing drums and stomping bass lines. ZEROID could be called the pissed version of NEUROSIS, URANUS or the darker version of ACME because they combine dark apocalytically tunes with crushing metallic hardcore. If you never heard of these German's before get this record. With their last suicide-rock effort they created their best work and one of the most exceptional hardcore records. [PK 045]

PUNK-ROCK. Formed in 1976, the ZEROS (aka THE MEXICAN RAMONES), were one of the pioneers of the L.A. punk explosion in the late '70s. This is the repressing of their 1980 album which includes their studio recordings and demos.

HARDCORE. Fast and thrashy horror-tinged hardcore from current members of SHAI HULUD. With 8 tracks in just over 11min. there's no room for any filler. The undead have risen and the ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE is so much more than just a side project band.

INDIE-POP. ZOX's eclecticism has endeared them to their cultish following, but they've remained largely on the fringe of mainstream media. Here are 11 original tracks that highlight vocalist Eli Miller's eclectic songwriting ability and Spencer Swain's incendiary violin as well as ZOX's capability to transcend several different genres.
