HARDCORE. "the weapon" was recorded fast and raw, true to the nature of the band. And the 15 tracks on the album showcase exactly what has made this four-piece so popular: high energy and great songs that are hardcore without severing its roots in punk rock. It's impossible to categorize WHERE FEAR AND WEAPONS MEET. They're not a metal band, a youth-crew hardcore band, or a pop-punk band. They do what they do and they do it better than most.

SXE-HARDCORE. Representing South Carolina's straight-edge scene, WHERE IT ENDS bring 5 tracks of heavy, mid '90s flavored hardcore, taking influence from bands like STRIFE and UNDERTOW. No holds barred hardcore. WHERE IT ENDS take the positivity and style of the above mentioned bands to another level of agression. The MCD comes with 2 additional tracks.

INDIE-ROCK. This is their 2nd full-length release on Revelation. With band members bringing their talents from SENSE FIELD, FINAL CONFLICT and MEAN SEASON, this collective has influence with a new twist. WHIRLPOOL hails from the generation that has shaped the Orange County sound. Soft yet hard-edged melodies inspired by bands like the PIXIES and X.

INDIE-ROCK. The 1st record in a never ending project band formed by Rodney Sellars of Southern California's SENSE FIELD. This record features members of MEAN SEASON, OUTSPOKEN, and FINAL CONFLICT. It could be rudimentarily described as melodic punk with an edge. Their style has been compared to X and the PIXIES partly because of the dual vocals. Great stuff.

POST-ROCK. With their 2 albums to date, Bay-Area, six-piece WHIRR has developed a reputation for dirgeful shoegaze, buttressed with textured layers or guitar and weighty, driving compositions. WHIRR returns with "around", a full-length that finds the group restrained and perhaps even a bit darker. Here, they explore longer songs, with their shortest clocking in at just under 6min.. Catchy melodies, traditionally a part of the band's wheelhouse, give way here to a droning ambience, shifting WHIRR slightly from their shoegaze core toward a dour post-rock sound.

POST-ROCK. WHIRR is one of the bands spearheading the shoegaze revival alongside bands like NOTHING and PITY SEX, and with "sway", the band's 4th proper album, they continue to walk down the road of heavy, fuzzed-out guitars with many layers and plenty of melody, paying homage to the classics as much as putting their own stamp on a timeless genre.

EMO-PUNK. The long awaited 15 song follow up to their amazing self titled debut. Melding together elements of NAKED RAYGUN/PEGBOY, LEATHERFACE, THE MURDER CITY DEVILS, and THE MISFITS in to their own style of hard drinking melodic south bay area punk rock and roll. A stand out record that fits nicely in-between the 80's punk scenes of Chicago and Minneapolis and the current guard of No Idea bands.

POST/GARAGE-PUNK. High-energy manic punks, WHITE LUNG, are back with their sophomore release, "sorry". McCorkell’s signature driving, off-kilter riffage paired with Way’s snarling and aggressive yet melodic vocals and the hard-hitting rhythmic duo of Grady Mackintosh on bass and Anne-Marie Vassilou on drums amp up WHITE LUNG’s position from ambassadors to the queens (and king) of Canandian noise rock. WHITE LUNG combine the feral energy of the GERMS with the taut, wiry dynamics of the WIPERS and have released a string of singles that keep improving in a bewilderingly exponential fashion. This wealth of influences doesn’t mean the band’s sound is hard to pin-down. "sorry" signals a new era for WHITE LUNG, featuring denser more melodic songs that maintain the rough edge of their punk pedigree. Colored (red) vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-HARDCORE. The highly anticipated 3rd album from this Sacramento band. Taking metal and hardcore to an abstract level similar to DEFTONES, this record is honest, emotional, and chaotic.

POST-HARDCORE. "whvn" is a sonic pummeling of metal-hardcore-noise that rivals virtually any other album out now that dares to call itself heavy. Make no mistake, WILL HAVEN has broken new ground with this record. The music that WILL HAVEN creates is a whole new breed of power, heaviness, and purity that must be heard to be understood. WILL HAVEN's lyrics are passionate, emotional and rival that of any band in any genre.

INSTRUMENTAL/POST-ROCK. Since the project's beginning and end, the creators have continued on in such bands as 27, ANODYNE, ISIS, and RED SPAROWES. The variety and depth to this (mostly) instrumental music documentation reaches far beyond those of any mere side-project. These rock-based songs incorporate so many elements of drone the group could almost reside next to their celestial forefathers SUNN and EARTH. However, the usage of keyboard and electronic elements alongside several guitars make the album more comparable to SIGUR ROS than BLACK SABBATH. An important period of musical evolution is captured here!

DOOM/STONER-ROCK. On the back of his set with SAINT VITUS, WINO played a mix of material from the just released WINO album "puntuated equilibibrium", THE OBSESSED-material and more. The set was recorded in multi track and mixed and mastered specially for this release by Mell Dettmer (Sunn o))), Earth, Burning Witch & more). The vinyl is housed in a well designed gatefold sleeve.

POST-PUNK. Originally released as a numbered limited edition for Record Store Day only. "change becomes us" has been almost unanimously acknowledged as WIRE's strongest release since their classic 3 albums in the '70s.

POST-PUNK. For those unfamiliar with "document & eyewitness", it really doesn't do it justice to describe it simply as a collection of live recordings from three turn-of-the-80s WIRE gigs. What makes it more than that is the unorthodox nature of the main performance and the way it was presented on record. The centrepiece of the original vinyl release was a recording of the final gig of WIRE's 70s phase. For the album, the Electric Ballroom material was supplemented with recordings from a 1979 show at the Notre Dame Hall, along with 1 track from a 1979 gig in Montreux. Vinyl is packaged in a gatefold-sleeve.
