HARDCORE. Rome's favorite sons have returned. "When blood turns into stone" is packed with 11 crushing hardcore anthems that will melt your face off with a burning intensity that will be hard pushed to be matched throughout 2008. This album is fast, furious and hard as nails twisting and turning through hurricane like fast parts and massive pumping grooves, all brought together with devastating breakdowns and passionate, heartfelt vocals that bleed pure emotion. With a slightly more metallic feel than predecessor "vultures", TO KILL's new offering showcases the band's maturity and progression in songwriting that never loses focus and always stays one step ahead of the game, bringing in slightly more metal influences without losing grasp of their hardcore roots that have served the band so well since their inception.

HARDCORE. The band made a name for themselves by constantly playing in and around New York, developing a loyal following of both punk and hardcore kids alike and becoming a mainstay of the flourishing NYHC scene. TOKEN ENTRY's 2nd full-length, "jaybird", originally released in 1988 on Hawker Records, took their signature sound of punk influenced hardcore to the next level. Blending the back-bone and groove of bands like BAD BRAINS with the positive force of bands like 7 SECONDS. TOKEN ENTRY pushed the hardcore/punk envelope even further with their finale, 1990's "the weight of the world". Their 3rd album showcased the band stretching their musical wings, incorporating rock, metal, and even funk influences into their songs. Now these two classic albums will be available again, together in one place, for old and new fans alike.

PROGRESSIVE-METAL/HARDCORE. NY's TOMBS pull influences from many different genres. The austere album brings together hypnotic harmonies, lush and introspective sonic textures, and a relentless intensity found in the most blackened metal to stunning effect - atmospheric, intense, heavy, psychedelic and melodic. Whether through driving melodies, explosive noise, or the most fragile of interludes, "winter hours" hits hard and resonates deeply within the listener.

METALCORE. Thick southern grooves with heavy fast rhythms and one hell of a growl carrying it all through, Iowa manages to deliver another powerful force to the heavy metal world. With their title track "confess", TOO PURE TO DIE pushes heavy verses and catchy choruses around a forcefully distorted core that makes this album hit you square in the chest. There is no denying that these guys are going to hit the culture hard, and they plan to take no prisoners.

HARDCORE/METAL. North Carolina's TORCH RUNNER bring an MCD worth of chaotic, technical, noisy, pissed off metallic hardcore with a decent amount of grind, applying elements of bands like KISS IT GOODBYE, ED GEIN, COALESCE and even CATHARSIS.

POST-ROCK/STONER. This monstrous, 7 song 10" pushes the TORCHE's (ex-FLOOR) musical extremes even further as the "poppy" songs are far more catchy, and the "heavy" songs are infinitely more crushing. The band continues to explore every side of their multi-faceted personas, presenting their darkest, heaviest and most infectious work to date. ''in return'' is also Robotic Empire's most obsessively ridiculous packaging yet; a beautiful full-color John Baizley design as a gatefold 10" jacket with a printed innersleeve and a die-cut on the inside front cover that holds the companion CD in place, all housed in a thick mylar bag with a 2-color sticker. This deluxe colored vinyl comes with a musically-identical CD counterpart.

POST-HARDCORE. The double drummer action of TORNAVALANCHE, sets a furious pace that the guitar players can barely keep up with. At times TORNAVALANCHE ''no money, no problems'' seems slightly derivative of TEN GRAND or FORSTELLA FORD, but evidently members of TORNAVALANCHE did session work with these bands in the late '90s and into this century. ''no money, no problems'' sets a gold standard for the 2006 hardcore/indie/noise/double drummer genre, and considering the impending bull market in gold, you would be very wise to purchase multiple copies of this album.

FOLK-PUNK. In the time-honored tradition of SOCIAL DISTORTION, THE CLASH and The Chieftain's, Chicago’s most infamous Irish folk-rock hooligans, THE TOSSERS return with a new arsenal of raucous, sincere anthems for the downtrodden that provide musical rays of hope in a time of dark uncertainty. Chicago's THE TOSSERS are set to release another record of loud, fast and passionate music to enjoy a Guinness to.

FOLK-PUNK. Chicago's precursor to LA's FLOGGING MOLLY and Boston's DROPKICK MURPHYS, THE TOSSERS are the perfect Irish hybrid. THE TOSSERS play their own brand of Irish music loaded with attitude and alcohol. Their new full length album will finally put THE TOSSERS side by side with their contemporaries, and down in Irish folk music history. A marriage of traditional instrumentation (mandolin, banjo, fiddle and tin whistle) with the raucous turmoil of punks gives THE TOSSERS their organic folk sound and rebellious reputation.

HARDCORE-PUNK. The highly anticipated self-titled album from TOTAL ABUSE is a monster hardcore classic. TOTAL ABUSE's pungent blend of '80s thrash, grinding proto-grunge, and waves of both the new and no variety, distills every extreme punk subgenre of the last 30 years into a 25min. barrage of shearing guitar noise and sonic annihilation. CD contains 15 bonus tracks from their "sex pig" 7" and demo (27 tracks total of ugly depraved hardcore).

PUNK-ROCK. TOTAL CHAOS once again returns to the roots of raw punk-rock, own by bands such as G.B.H. and DISCHARGE for their return album "avoid all sides". You'll get 13 tracks with some of the best songs the band has ever written sure to impress even the worse critics. The message is stronger than ever before - there is a sense of urgency coming from the band - regarding social and political reform - it oozes from their music and is undeniable to any that listen. TOTAL CHAOS' style of music can unify them all - bringing them back to one scene and that is punk-rock!

POST-HARDCORE. Finally re-pressed on vinyl. "is survived by" is the anticipated new album from TOUCHE AMORE. Throughout the entire album, vocalist/lyricist Jeremy Bolm digs deeper in search of personal catharsis, allowing us to relate to his drive to be clearly heard, truly understood and unapologetically remembered. Without question, "is survived by" is another masterwork from TOUCHE AMORE. grey marble vinyl. Colored (green) vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-HARDCORE. TOUCHE AMORE is a thought-provoking, passionate hardcore band from Los Angeles. From the first strikes of their angular, yet melodic, chords, it's apparent that TOUCHE AMORE has awoken something long forgotten in the hardcore and punk genre, bringing to mind the balance of rage and melody that Revolution Summer-era DC bands RITES OF SPRING and IGNITION once carried. Without a doubt, TOUCHE AMORE's "parting the sea between brightness and me" is a stunning full-length achievement on any scale, proving that there is true beauty within the concept of artistic simplicity. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-HARDCORE. Hailing from Los Angeles, TOUCHE AMORE set themselves against the glamour and greed of their hometown culture with "to the beat of a dead horse", the passionate debut. "to the beat of a dead horse" feels fully realized: the guitars bend and weave but always maintain their drive, the rhythms are frequently off kilter but never off-time and the vocals are screamed at the edge of breaking up but they're always exciting, pleasing even. Features guest vocals by Geoff (Thursday) and Jeff (Modern Life Is War). Thick 180gr, colored (purple) vinyl comes with a gatefold-cover and includes a digital download card.
