DEATHCORE. Georgia natives THRILL OF A GUNFIGHT entered the studio with Matt Washburn (Norma Jean, Mastodon) to create a testament to both their death-metal and hardcore influences, and are set to bring that to ears all over the world, not only with this record, but also by taking part in the 2009 Summer Slaughter Tour alongside Suffocation, Necrophagist and Darkest Hour.

POST-HARDCORE. The band employs a mix of melodic and metallic hardcore that is nostalgic to fans of BELOVED and BLINDSIDE. Combined influences from South Wales neighbors FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND and early POISON THE WELL lend their effect while denizens of intelligent hardcore will find comfort in the atmospheric layers and melodic passages a la MISERY SIGNALS and "satellite years"-era HOPESFALL.

HARDCORE. Originally released in 1999, THROWDOWN's debut album, "beyond repair", helped usher in a wave of Orange County hardcore that was unlike any before it. Big singalongs backed by even bigger breakdowns that helped catapult the band from small-room local bills to national and international tours and festivals. This special pressing commemorates the 20 years that have passed since this album's initial release and the starting place for a legacy that still survives today. Colored (orang) vinyl.

HARDCORE. A blistering follow-up to last year's "beyond repair" album, and a teaser to an upcoming full-length from these metallic-tinged maniacs. Heavy and searing thunder riffs charged with moshable breakdowns and explosive power.

METALCORE. Orange County is more than sunny beaches, palm trees and buxom babes. Underneath the surface lies a slow-boiling tension between the haves and the have-nots. There's a hostility simmering within those who struggle to transcend, to become more, and to fight back against a social value system that has sold them short and offered them little in the way of true comfort, loyalty, or respect. It's a dissatisfaction that can't be pacified with life's material luxuries and one that refuses to remain unheard. And now that desire to fight back - an urgency that unites the dispossessed across racial, gender and geographical borders - has found a new soundtrack in "vendetta", the blisteringly heavy new album from THROWDOWN.

HARDCORE. The 11 song sophmore full-length, this is their 3rd release on Indecision. Although what you will find on these recordings is a bit more of mature THROWDOWN, don't think for second that you won't be treated to an overwhelming share of their now signature breakdowns.

INDIE/POST-ROCK. Like other bands before them, New Brunswick's THURSDAY became the model for other bands to follow. Relive the story of THURSDAY with this fantastic archive compilation of music recorded between 1997-2007 which traces the band's humble beginnings in the basements of America all of the way to international acclaim. Plus, hear 3 studio tracks recorded especially for this historic release. Now available on vinyl with a gatefold-cover. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-HARDCORE. THE TIDAL SLEEP play a killer style of metallic post-hardcore that employs the use of post-rock leanings to formulate a really intense sound. They cites ENVY, JR.EWING, AT THE DRIVE-IN, THE SMITHS, and CAVE IN as influences. The band's use of post-rock style guitarwork results in a epic, dynamic, and at times passionate sounding style of post hardcore. The vocals range from shouting to almost spoken word. "vorstellungskraft" is the band's latest 11 song full-length. Highly recommended!

INSTRUMENTAL/POST-ROCK. While both bands share slower tempos and amp-worshiping guitar tones, TIDES and GIANT manage to strike their own course in a scene that is rife with boring clones and uninspired songwriting. TIDES write gorgeously lush soundtracks to movies not yet made, filled with emotive guitar work, dynamic drumming, and huge production. GIANT's sole track on this record features the band's three-guitar line weaving its way through both the heaviest of distortions and hauntingly euphoric passages.

HARDCORE. TIEFIGHTER is a California five-piece hardcore mob. TIEFIGHTER's sound could be described as fast, melodic, ferocious hardcore. The clean production on the guitars and drums make for a more accesible experience, as opposed to grittier niches explored by similar bands. "I could tell the world" provides frantic wake up calls with its breakneck speed drumming. TIEFIGHTER is a fun listen with plently of sing-alongs to scream away to on a sun-bathed night, but the lack of substance lets them down. If you like SET YOUR GOALS, DAGGERMOUTH or even THIS IS HELL you should try this item!

SINGER/SONGWRITER. Throughout "40 miler", the rough-hewn characters populating BARRY's lyrics refuse to surrender even in the face of long odds. "40 miler" also finds TIM BARRY taking his spare folk-country sound in a different direction. This time around, BARRY opts for more raucous, rocking approach on several tracks, adding more electric guitar, organ, piano, and harmonica, as well as the gorgeous voice of Richmond songstress Julie Karr to the mix. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

PUNK-ROCK. Tampa, Florida's THE TIM VERSION keep with the rich tradition of melodic-punk from No Idea records, playing 12 tracks of infectiously energetic rock 'n' roll music that takes its cues from bands like HOT WATER MUSIC, LEATHERFACE, LUCERO and DILLINGER FOUR. Though at first listen it’s a simple punk album, there are a handful of subtleties that prove "Decline of the southern gentleman" a solid release through and through. Underlying REPLACEMENTS-influenced guitar riffs and growly backup vocals fill the album until it nearly bursts with energy. This release marks a giant step forward for THE TIM VERSION, who have been playing together for nearly 10 years and have at least 8 releases under their belts.

PUNK-ROCK. Since the release of their Hellcat Records debut "The stories are true", Los Angeles' TIME AGAIN have been steadily on the road. It was on these tours that the band crafted "Darker days", another 14 adrenaline-fueled street-punk anthems that borrow sounds from bands like RANCID, THE UNSEEN, OPERATION IVY and THE CLASH.

PUNK-ROCK. An album with a title fitting of it's content: Truly inspired songs, with lyrics inspired by true events. From nights spent in jail, to days spent living on the street. "The stories are true" is an album that grabs you and won't let go. TIME AGAIN rips through through 13 exciting and thought provoking tracks pushing the limits of punk today. While the album also plants a flag firmly in the territory of '80s punk, TIME AGAIN's versatility still manages to shine through. Turning their instantly catchy melodies, and their heart racing instrumentation into an infectious and classic debut.

SXE-HARDCORE. Fast-paced, GORILLA BISCUITS-influenced hardcore with a healthy dose of melody in their sound, seemingly separating them from the rest of the late '80s hardcore revivalists. The 2nd full-length offering from this Virginia band featuring a member of fellow Indecision labelmates, COUNT ME OUT. High fives, stagedives, and singalongs....what else is there?
