PUNK-ROCK. [RELEASEDATE 25.10.19] "the empire strikes first" is a no bullshit, straight up BAD RELIGION record. For the most part, all the major components are here, the fast guitars, short and tasteful solos, the soaring vocal melodies and of course, their ever-present sense of social and political awareness, which just about every person can relate to. BAD RELIGION provides yet another example why they're one of the biggest and best.

PUNK-ROCK. BAD RELIGION has become synonymous with intelligent and provocative West-Coast punk-rock and is considered one of the most influential and important bands in the genre. "the gray race" is the 9th full-length album by BAD RELIGION, which was originally released in 1996. It was the follow-up to the band's highly successful 1994 album "stranger than fiction". Vinyl includes a digital download card.

PUNK-ROCK. Recalling the ferocity of their earliest work with the unique harmonizing qualities that've helped define a thriving generation in the Soithern-California punk scene, the reunited core team of Gurewitz, Graffin and Bentley have upped the anti again in sound, volume and density. "the process of belief" rivals and surpasses anything they've accomplished to date, emotionally, technically, and tactfully. Each of the 14 tracks follow their own paths, embodying thoughts of discontentment and discouragement, questioning authority and humanity along the way and react with resolve, filtered with virtue, and far surpass previously trained ideas of punk music constraint. Re-issue of the album from 2002 on limited colored vinyl.

PUNK-ROCK. With "true north", BAD RELIGION return to form in a way, delivering 16 songs clocking in at just 35min., going back to the short, concise bursts of melody and thought the band became known for over their 30+ year career. Vinyl includes a CD version.

INDIE/EMO-ROCK. According to BALANCE AND COMPOSURE, they can be loud, quiet and everything in between - a pretty apt description in a nutshell. Picking up where "separation" left off, BALANCE AND COMPOSURE return once again to push the boundaries of their music with driving riffs and intensely passionate vocals on the band's long-awaited second studio album, "the things we think we're missing". It's the type of record that makes listeners pause and reflect, evoking moments of happiness and sadness over the course of 13 songs.

INDIE-ROCK. Sub Pop proudly presents "cease to begin" re-pressed on gold coloured vinyl for Europe. Band of Horses' second album, which came out in 2007 and went on to sell over 320000 copies. If the 1st album was a Pacific Northwest indie album with flourishes of country and southern-rock, then "cease to begin" reverses the equation. Putting a different regional spin on their tender-hearted indie-rock, doesn't change up the sound too much - the guitars still churn and crest majestically, Bridwell's vocals still echo with grandiose reverb, but simply creates an atmosphere evocative of something like autumn in a small town. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

INDIE-ROCK. Sub Pop proudly presents "everything all the time" re-pressed on red coloured vinyl for Europe. BAND OF HORSES' debut album which came out in 2006 and went on to sell over 350000 copies. Achieving musical transcendence is a tricky feat, almost definitively. If it happens at all, it happens naturally and perhaps nobody knows that better than Seattle, Washington’s BAND OF HORSES. Guitarist/vocalist Ben Bridwell and bassist Mat Brooke formed BAND OF HORSES in 2004, after the dissolution of their nearly 10 year run in northwest melancholic darlings CARISSA'S WIERD. And, BAND OF HORSES rises from the ashes of that well-loved and short-lived band. "everything all the time" is an album painted gorgeously in fragile highs and lows. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE. BANE has been a mainstay of the hardcore scene for almost 20 years, putting out hard-hitting classics like "holding this moment" (1998) till "the note" (2005). This will be BANE's 1st record since their legendary full-length "the note" and unfortunatly also the final album by this 5 piece from Boston,Massachusetts. The result is a true manifestation of the essence of BANE: friendship, loyalty, the love for what you do and the experiences you made along the way. Colored (splatter) vinyl is housed in a gatefold-cover and includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE. To say that BANE has been a driving force in the hardcore scene for the last decade would be an understatement. The band is synonymous with classic, sincere hardcore and passionate live performances followers still talk about to this day. From the debut release of "Holding this moment" for Equal Vision in the late '90s BANE cemented their role in the development of the hardcore community. "The note" is an unabashedly unapologetic 10 song wake up call to everyone who has somehow lost their way and become disillusioned with the state of today's underground music scene.

EMO-PUNK. The band resolved to remix and remaster "resignation day" in hopes of capturing the sound they had originally envisioned. BANNER PILOT fits perfectly into the lexicon of modern Minnesota punk-rock, drawing influences from local booze hound heroes DILLINGER FOUR as well as taking hints from early Lookout Records east-bay acts like PINHEAD GUNPOWDER. BANNER PILOT also adds some of the midwestern emo sound of early THE GET UP KIDS and then tops it off with gruff alcohol and cigarette laced vocals. In addition to the limited Kiss Of Death pressing, the band decided to add 2 tracks that were not included on the 1st incarnation of "resignation day."

HARDCORE. "beacon of faith" broadly follows the same trajectory as the album's predecessors, "bushcraft" (2013), and "bloodmines" (2014) - combining raw adrenaline-fueled emotion, venomous vocal delivery, gigantic guitar sound, and a visceral rhythmic propulsion - a sonic manifestation of desolate rage, bolstered by a palpable sense of urgency. "beacon of faith" is densely-packed yet BAPTISTS' sound is far from claustrophobic, there is melody amongst the dissonance, as the band more deeply explore the noise rock vistas that have always underpinned their sound.

SKA-PUNK-ROCK. THE BARSTOOL PREACHERS comes to the plate with their debut full-length, "blatant propaganda" - and they are definitely turning heads. This is the perfect antidote to all of the run-of-the-mill, industry-standard apathy we see in modern music today. Fresh off the back of their 1st 7", this album combines the best of ska, punk and reggae into a fun barrage of songs that can get even the most jaded singing along to. Vinyl includes a digital download card.
