HARDCORE. WALK PROUD is probably best known in the hardcore scene for having been the 1st release for New Age Records all the way back in 1988 with the "be yourself" 7". The band followed that up with the "rip" LP in 1990 and the "one more time" 7" in 1991, both on Nemesis Records. An appearance on the "furious world" compilation on Basement Records in 2003 was the band's last release, making this their 1st new record in over a decade. The band returns with 13 new tracks for fans of early AGNOSTIC FRONT and SUICIDAL TENDENCIES. Colored (red) vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-ROCK/STONER. These 5 dudes from Cologne/Bonn, Germany are a V2 rocket filled with pink-flowers. Sounding like 13 tons of candy falling on your cranium from a mile-high tower crane during a solar eclipse. Think of GODFLESH, JESU and the mighty FLOOR. These songs just keep growing on you, they make you feel the energy these guys deliver. Yes, you’re right – it is damn massive! All copies come with a thick die-cut and screenprinted cardboard-cover, printed innersleeves and includes a digital download card.

SXE-HARDCORE. WALL BREAKER is a new straight-edge hardcore band with members from New Jersey and Virginia. Heavily influenced by bands like SSD and LIFE'S BLOOD, but played with the speed of some of the early-'00s-era thrash bands. This is Trump-era hardcore. Limited edition of 200 copies.

COLLEGE-ROCK. WALLPAPER formed in 2004 in Auburn, Washington after years of bonding over their rock and roll obsessions. They mix '50s rockabilly and '60s surf with the crucial wave of '80s underground music. The album's allure comes in the juxtaposition of pop sensibilities with lyrics sung like a sliding shimmy, but written with a call for a pop cultural reform. Refreshingly laid back and uncomplicated - just how they want their rock 'n' roll world to be.

HARDCORE. Featuring 3/4 of the final COLD SWEAT lineup (and for that matter, one-half of IRON LUNG), as well as the vocalist from NEGATIVE STEP and SOCIETY OF FRIENDS, WALLS "self-titled" full-length serves as an expansion of their "s/t" 7" issued earlier in 2007. Indeed it is filled with a wider array of lurching rhythms, atonal riffs, and angry, stream-of-consciousness vocals, that, in the parlance of our times, "pick up where they left off". Comparisons tend to liken their music to an intersection of loose early '90s hardcore like RORSCHACH, HEROIN, and BORN AGAINST, and the sludgy stylings of early JESUS LIZARD and MELVINS and nowadays CLOCKCLEANER records.

HARDCORE. WALLS are basically everything a hardcore band should be these days. Aggressive, provoking and unsettling. Their music has been described as brooding and downright scary at times. They are heavy and fast but with plenty of room for slower and creepy parts. The mixture of pissed off lyrics with such fitting music reminds of BORN AGAINST. You know how some bands are described with images of axes, hammers or other equipment to just describe how brutal they are? Well, WALLS are like knives! You don’t see them coming but you can feel they are here. Bleak and harsh - this is rage.

METALCORE. Shrieking guitar assaults. Sirens. Words of warning. Thousands marching. The intro for "no one can save you from yourself" establishes in mere seconds that WALLS OF JERICHO is ready for the final resistance - after all, why would these hardcore/metalcore legends fall silent after almost 20 years? The five-piece loves to rub salt into gaping wounds and WALLS OF JERICHO fans worldwide count on the unmatched aggression and integrity of Detroit's daughter and sons - be it at their brutal live shows or on record. Eight years after "the american dream", Candace Kucsulain and co. have found new allies in Napalm Records. Thick 180gr vinyl, housed in a gatefold-cover includes a digital download card with 2 additional tracks.

HARDCORE. There are few bands than can write a 2min. song that incorporates every element of metal/hardcore that we all love... but WALLS OF JERICHO do just that. Speed, crunch, anger, emotion, melodies, singalongs, and spine-tingling aggression consolidate to form Detroit's most lethal breed of heavy hitters. WALLS OF JERICHO cannot be categorized, they are unstoppable, and Candace's relentlessly heart stopping vocals will have you at her mercy.

SINGER/SONGWRITER. From his tenure in legendary hardcore bands like GORILLA BISCUITS and YOUTH OF TODAY to his work in the pioneering post-hardcore act QUICKSAND and cult favorites like RIVAL SCHOOLS, WALTER SCHREIFELS has proved himself to be one of the most talented and diverse songwriters of his generation. SCHREIFELS transcended his hardcore roots and showed another side of his constantly shifting skin with his solo debut "an open letter to the scene". Originally released in 2010, now available again on colored vinyl with a gatefold-cover and a new bonus 7". Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

INDIE/ELECTRONIC-POP. From the opening notes swelling with electronic organs and driving drum beats, to infectiously breezy melodies, bass grooves and vocal harmonizing, this album leaves the listener with a lasting impression of satisfaction. In the words of WAMPIRE - it's sexy, sounds huge, and by all means should be blamed for future babies. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

INDIE/ELECTRONIC-POP. After forming WAMPIRE, Rocky Tinder and Eric Phipps steadily began to make a name for themselves in the same Portland scene that has produced labelmates UNKNOWN MORTAL ORCHESTRA. The a-side "the hearse" serves as the perfect tintroduction for those unfamiliar with the band - its opening notes swelling instantly with electronic organs over a driving drum beat. The b-side, a cover of KRAFTWERK's "das modell", showcases another side of the duo by cloaking the original's industrial-synth-pop with a murkier aura underscored by chugging guitars. Limited to 500 on purple vinyl.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Japanese noise punk via the UK! Can you imagine DISORDER and CONFUSE having a glue-sniffing session and the survivors picking up some instruments and heading off to a studio? Have you ever had a mental picture of early THE SWANKYS and early CHAOS U.K. competing against each other over who has the nosiest guitar sound?" This one contains all tracks from the "weapons of musical destruction" 8", "lost in france..and drunk" 7", split LP and "the very best of hero" LP.

HARDCORE-PUNK. "knock one out" is the 3rd LP by these lovely arseholes. A little less noisy than past efforts, and a little more silly. Three English gentlemen, ex-members of all your favorite UK bands, goof off and have a bit of pervy old guy fun. But despite all the silliness, they manage to write both really catchy mid-tempo snotty punk anthems and really chaotic, harsh short/fast/loud hardcore numbers that capture their noise spirit. Obviously to be filed next to your SWANKYS records, but THE WANKYS have found their own noise-punk niche in the past few years, developing their own unique sound, style, and attitude unlike any other.

LP 12.50€*

HARDCORE-PUNK. Newest 7" by SPHC stalwarts THE WANKYS, one of the world's chief purveyors of noise-punk. Of course they are playing straight-forward noise-punk (nothing but braindrill guitars, bouncing bass, and drill beats to be found here) but they have an extensive enough catalog and a unique enough vision that they no longer qualify as "sounding like X", they just sound like themselves. While the last few releases have been a little cleaner, more mid-tempo, more rocking, these 4 songs harken back to the older WANKYS catalog of short/fast/loud scorchers, high-velocity ragers best suited for pogo, chaos, and slam dancing.
