SXE-HARDCORE. WAIT IN VAIN has emerged in the northwest as one of the most dynamic bands in the hardcore scene today. Fronted by Timm McIntosh, formerly of TRIAL and CHAMPION, WAIT IN VAIN has a voice that has been a part of the uprising, continuation and return of Seattle straight-edge hardcore. Lyrically, the band unleashes an intelligent onslaught of messages covering many social and political issues with an emphasis on self-reliance and a need for action toward an uncaring world.

EMOCORE/INDIE-ROCK. New Jersey's THE WAIT feature 3 members of the now defunct ENDGAME - pushing the sound of their former band to new heights. Compared to a modern day TEXAS IS THE REASON or FARSIDE, THE WAIT's melodic vocals are complemented by guitarist Scott Esbrandt's distinct style of playing that quickly made ENDGAME so popular. The album is reminiscent of the mid-'90s post-punk sound, but done perfectly and without imitation.

GRINDCORE. With "false", Calgary’s WAKE have created one of the most angry, vicious and volatile grindcore albums you'll hear 2013. Seriously - 11 songs of raw, unwavering and filthy hardened, deathened grindcore that come out of nowhere, leave you gasping for breath, and wondering what the hell just happened. This is a chaotic, pulsating, airborne event, not an album…it’s a return to form for extreme music – real danger, real anger and real beats and riffs. "false" is the sound of a prisoner getting shived. Thick 180gr vinyl comes with gatefold-cover and includes a digital download card.

GRINDCORE. After a 7" and endless shows, Canada's grinding band WAKE release their 1st longplayer, "leeches". WAKE combine a good dose of blastbeats, sludgy midtempo parts, doublebass machinegunfire and sometimes even melodic crusty outbursts into a fresh own style. With the brutal wall of sound, mixed and mastered by Scott Hull - this album is a monster!

HARDCORE/METAL. Bitter Melody Records is proud to bring you the 1st full-length LP from WAKE OF HUMANITY. Formed in 2015, the Seattle metallic hardcore outfit have been building their reputation out on the road and by dropping two 7"s of powerful material, reaching listeners in truly organic way. "fight/resist" brings their most cohesive and heaviest tracks to date with a solidified line-up. Seattle xvx-hardcore as it best. Colored vinyl is limited to 500 copies and includes a digital download card.

CRUST-HARDCORE. Heavily percussion driven this band layers a cacophony of influences to create a driving and haunting release. This is what you want to be listening to as you drive on dark country roads. To add to the band’s original sound they have even welcomed the addition of a cello player on this recording. Recorded at the Jam Room down south (Damad, Kylesa etc.) and features cover art from Jeremy Clark (Slug & Lettuce). This is a monumental release!

HARDCORE. WALK PROUD is probably best known in the hardcore scene for having been the 1st release for New Age Records all the way back in 1988 with the "be yourself" 7". The band followed that up with the "rip" LP in 1990 and the "one more time" 7" in 1991, both on Nemesis Records. An appearance on the "furious world" compilation on Basement Records in 2003 was the band's last release, making this their 1st new record in over a decade. The band returns with 13 new tracks for fans of early AGNOSTIC FRONT and SUICIDAL TENDENCIES. Colored (red) vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-ROCK/STONER. These 5 dudes from Cologne/Bonn, Germany are a V2 rocket filled with pink-flowers. Sounding like 13 tons of candy falling on your cranium from a mile-high tower crane during a solar eclipse. Think of GODFLESH, JESU and the mighty FLOOR. These songs just keep growing on you, they make you feel the energy these guys deliver. Yes, you’re right – it is damn massive! All copies come with a thick die-cut and screenprinted cardboard-cover, printed innersleeves and includes a digital download card.

SXE-HARDCORE. WALL BREAKER is a new straight-edge hardcore band with members from New Jersey and Virginia. Heavily influenced by bands like SSD and LIFE'S BLOOD, but played with the speed of some of the early-'00s-era thrash bands. This is Trump-era hardcore. Limited edition of 200 copies.

COLLEGE-ROCK. WALLPAPER formed in 2004 in Auburn, Washington after years of bonding over their rock and roll obsessions. They mix '50s rockabilly and '60s surf with the crucial wave of '80s underground music. The album's allure comes in the juxtaposition of pop sensibilities with lyrics sung like a sliding shimmy, but written with a call for a pop cultural reform. Refreshingly laid back and uncomplicated - just how they want their rock 'n' roll world to be.

LP 14.00€*

HARDCORE. WALLS are basically everything a hardcore band should be these days. Aggressive, provoking and unsettling. Their music has been described as brooding and downright scary at times. They are heavy and fast but with plenty of room for slower and creepy parts. The mixture of pissed off lyrics with such fitting music reminds of BORN AGAINST. You know how some bands are described with images of axes, hammers or other equipment to just describe how brutal they are? Well, WALLS are like knives! You don’t see them coming but you can feel they are here. Bleak and harsh - this is rage.

INDIE/ELECTRONIC-POP. From the opening notes swelling with electronic organs and driving drum beats, to infectiously breezy melodies, bass grooves and vocal harmonizing, this album leaves the listener with a lasting impression of satisfaction. In the words of WAMPIRE - it's sexy, sounds huge, and by all means should be blamed for future babies. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

INDIE/ELECTRONIC-POP. After forming WAMPIRE, Rocky Tinder and Eric Phipps steadily began to make a name for themselves in the same Portland scene that has produced labelmates UNKNOWN MORTAL ORCHESTRA. The a-side "the hearse" serves as the perfect tintroduction for those unfamiliar with the band - its opening notes swelling instantly with electronic organs over a driving drum beat. The b-side, a cover of KRAFTWERK's "das modell", showcases another side of the duo by cloaking the original's industrial-synth-pop with a murkier aura underscored by chugging guitars. Limited to 500 on purple vinyl.

7"col 6.00€*

HARDCORE-PUNK. "knock one out" is the 3rd LP by these lovely arseholes. A little less noisy than past efforts, and a little more silly. Three English gentlemen, ex-members of all your favorite UK bands, goof off and have a bit of pervy old guy fun. But despite all the silliness, they manage to write both really catchy mid-tempo snotty punk anthems and really chaotic, harsh short/fast/loud hardcore numbers that capture their noise spirit. Obviously to be filed next to your SWANKYS records, but THE WANKYS have found their own noise-punk niche in the past few years, developing their own unique sound, style, and attitude unlike any other.
