POST-PUNK. SILENCE are a highly active post-punk/peace-punk band from Pittsburgh. "the deafening sound of absolutely nothing" strives (and succeeds) to achieve the perfect mix of between peace and post-punk. By taking influences from THE MOB, BAUHAUS, ZOUNDS, KILLING JOKE, CRASS and CONFLICT, SILENCE have created what can only be described a brilliant debut LP. At one moment this record is dark, heavy, and atmospheric and then the next moment it makes you want to dance and sing along. "the deafening sound of absolutely nothing" comes with a 16 page booklet containing lyrics, personal writings and song explanations. Designed, printed and assembled by the band themselves.

PUNK-ROCK. The People in this band are punk lifers, who walk the walk, know what they’ re doing and don’t fuck around about it. That’s reflected here in 10 tracks of the sort of personally political punk , that no one else really makes anymore. The writing and production may harken back to the ens-'80s heyday of melodic-hardcore - associate with the likes of DAN, SOFAHEAD or POLITICAL ASYLUM. This album is far from a straight genre exercise.

PUNK-ROCK. The Bay Area's SILENT ERA self-titled debut 7" contains 4 urgent and melody-infused anthems that feature a near-perfect amalgam of the best kinds of melodic hardcore (think POST REGIMENT and LA FRACTION) and moody UK anarcho-punk (in the tradition of ZOUNDS), with the band's signature haunting vocals and huge guitar hooks. The 7" also includes a lovely printed insert and gorgeous cover art by singer Michelle Hill.

INDIE-ROCK. "it'll be cool" was the 9th SILKWORM album. Originally released in 2004 on CD only and now available on LP for the 1st time. SILKWORM's songs are full of holes, but wide-open spaces can inspire some crazy-ass dreams. Welcome to the new weird America. One of the underground's strongest songwriting forces. Devoid of status-quo gimmickry and fanfare, SILKWORM deserve to have their greatness acknowledged now. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

INDIE-ROCK. SILKWORM cared, and didn't/wouldn't fudge. The emotional heft of the performances always registered first, but the playing was full of jarring, chaotic moments that aren't the results of the mere "chops". Sometimes direct, sometimes utterly cryptic. A notoriously self-reliant band, SILKWORM swelled its ranks considerably on "italian platinum", originally released in 2002. Symbiosis defined this band, and you're better off hearing for yourself. Colored (red) vinyl includes a digital download card.

INDIE-ROCK. Out-of-print for years, Touch & Go re-released "lifestyle" (originally released in 2000) on vinyl. In a word, SILKWORM are durable. Continually churning out the classicist-without-being-retro goods, they hold an accomplished spot between the likes of CCR and the MINUTEMEN. Not as famous as the former, and not as wild as the latter, but as fresh and timeless as both. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-HARDCORE. Following the success of their sophomore record, "year of the snake" on Bridge 9 Records, Los Angeles' SILVER SNAKES forge down a darker path with radical turns on "saboteur". The band continues their evolution of sound by incorporating influences of '90s industrial and elements of doom-metal into their post-hardcore sound. The result is cathartic and innovative. Heavy, stabbing riffs crescendo into massive walls of guitars that give way to atmospheric and at times ethereal moments of calm that relay underlying messages of sabotage and deception.

POST-HARDCORE. Amongst all of the touring and shows, SILVER SNAKES found time to hit the studio to record 2 tracks. SILVER SNAKES harks back to the great music of the '90s in their own way. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-HARDCORE. Los Angeles's SILVER SNAKES is back with their 2nd full-length, "year of the snake". The resulting 11 songs see SILVER SNAKES going in a darker direction than they had visited on their previous album "pictures", and finds their dynamic range expanding; the band has grown louder and more dissonant on tracks, while getting quieter and more desolate on some other tracks. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Following 2 lauded and highly publicized demo tapes, Australia's SIMFUCKERS finally unleash their debut 7" upon the world and what an ungodly racket it is - 6 songs of snotty, nasty punk that seethes angst and frustration. Blown out, ugly and downright idiotic songs that could only come from some of the masterminds that helped make VAGINORS and BLOODCLOT FAGGOTS so special. Limited edition of 200 copies.

GARAGE-PUNK. Proto punk legends SIMPLY SAUCER landed in Detroit during the summer of 2011 to record 5 classic tracks with some very special guests for the "baby nova" MLP. Taking it’s name from a song originally destined to be on Cyborgs Revisited this MLP will premiere the 1st ever studio versions of these 5 classic SIMPLY SAUCER songs recorded in Detroit. The use of vintage analogue recording equipment in this session allowed SIMPLY SAUCER to return to the immediacy of their own raw edgy roots in a city that had influenced the formation and early direction of the band.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Formed in the wake of the 1st wave of L.A. punk, SIN 34 epitomized the Southern California hardcore scene at the time. Fast, defiant thrash; one part suburban teenage rebellion, one part crass satire, all held together by a thread of reckless adventuring. One of the rare hardcore bands fronted by a female singer, SIN 34 bounced it's way briefly but not quietly through the SoCal scene, dodging flying bodies and antagonistic LA police as they went. SIN 34's only full length LP, "do you feel safe?", captured the band in their short-lived prime. Originally released in 1983 and over 30 years out-of-print until now. Vinyl comes remastered, with liner notes and includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Chicago's SIN ORDEN is the band that never quit, over 10 years of love & rage and not a single sign of slowing down or mellowing. If anything, this is a demonstration of them at their absolute best, with 7 new songs that meld the raging-fast hardcore-punk the South side of Chicago has been producing for decades with the d-beat of Texas stalwarts like VAASKA and CRIATURAS.

HARDCORE-PUNK. SIN ORDEN is from Chicago and they play fantastic fast and furious hardcore in the vein of LOS CRUDOS/LIMP WRIST. But it has never been a poor copy. From the beginning, they have developed their own personality and style. This collection LP gathers the songs of the early years of SIN ORDEN. From the "brutalidad juvenil" 7", the "amargado de la vida" and the "histeria compilations, as well as some songs from the 1st demo" tape. Vinyl comes with a gatefold-sleeve.
