HARDCORE. Years in the making, this record displays a style of hardcore that has moved from the raw and primal angst of earlier records to a new level of structure and musicianship without losing any of its power or urgency. Furious catchy riffs, sick leads, ill breaks, critical beats, back up Saira’s introspective, and sometimes inspirational, lyrics yet coarse delivery. A lot of bands today hide their lack of chops behind a wall or reverb and distortion, QUESTION employs driving hardcore with solid riffs eschewing this sleight of hand. Some of the structure reminds of TOTALTÄR, but unlike a lot of bands these days you can’t say this record “sounds just like…” some other popular or legendary band. For those who wish to rage in hell.

NOISE-ROCK. When planets align, skeptics worry about disasters and possibly even the apocalypse. Those same folks may be just as worried to hear that singer David Yow has emerged from his 8 year musical exile. The notorious, psychotic, and brilliant singer had fronted two influential noise rock groups, SCRATCH ACID and THE JESUS LIZARD. Yow recently aligned himself with QUI, a noise, punk, and experimental duo who are a perfect fit for his frenzied and colorful style. The result is "Love's miracle", a rollercoaster of heavy-hitting audio assaults that proves that sometimes skeptics are wrong. "Love’s miracle" sounds as psychotic and slimy as any other post-BUTTHOLE SURFERS filth.

INDIE/EMO-ROCK. Almost since BEACH SLANG came into being, bandleader James Alex has taken to performing his group's heartfelt anthems as more intimate solo renditions. Appropriately dubbed "quiet slang", these alternate reality versions of BEACH SLANG's music have now simultaneously been stripped down and fleshed out in the studio to include piano and cello. The result is a collection of songs that peel away the layers of reverb and distortion to lay bare their starkly honest and emotional cores. Colored, thick 180gr vinyl includes a digital download card.

For fans of early punk/hardcore in America. Sacramento Records tried their best to preserve the authentic distressed early hardcore aesthetic by printing the cover and inserts on an old analog copy machine. Three songs pressed on green vinyl with a limited run of 300 records.
