Vinyl version of their CD on Lovitt Records. After two CDeps on Lovitt and Vermiform Records, Rah Bras (with ex Mens Recovery Project and Hose Got Cable members) are ready to engage listeners once again with their concentration of melodic assault and spectacular beats. Consisting of a gigantic keyboard, bass, and drums, Rah Bras? music layers provocative vocals over tight little riffs and throbbing tempos. Ruy Blas! is an audacious concoction of pop presence and electronic abrasives that gallops the gamut from gamelan to garish. This ability to absorb an obsessive amount of rather disparate influences in order to create something so wholly new and uncontrived is a rare feat. That it comes together so effortlessly for this band awards them a certain genre-defining moment with this release. Rah Bras toured Europe in the fall.

CROSSOVER/HIP-HOP. If you've followed modern music, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE needs no introduction. If you're wondering how Revelation Records got to release a record by a band this big, you must not know that Zack was in INSIDE OUT before he started RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. This is a Revelation exclusive 10" record featuring the track "people of the sSun" along with some unreleased tracks (including a live version of PUBLIC ENEMY's "black steel in the hour of chaos" with Chuck D helping out on vocals). New pressing on colored (green) vinyl.

CROSSOVER/HIP-HOP. Pissed off and angry is the best way to describe RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE's 1st album. A fierce mix of hip-hop, hardcore and heavy-rock exploded all over the music scene in 1992. At 1st sight an unlikely band. The album even contained hitsingles like "killing in the name of" and "bullet in the head". Put the needle on the record and be blown away (again)!

POST-ROCK. RAH BRAS return with their 1st release on Lovitt Records in 3 years with "eps", a remastered collection of their 3 out-of-print MCDs originally released on Lovitt, Vermiform, and Lungcast Records. They establish and fortify their unnerving pageant of synthy hooks, primal beats, and bravado in this sumptuous release.

POST-ROCK. RAH BRAS begin again with their latest album, "whom". For the last decade, the trio has been spelunking the nether regions of pop, pomp, and punk on a smattering releases. Their genre-defying audio promiscuity has fermented into the anvil-drop-rock of 2005's "whohm". Heavy synths grind and squeal upon pure propulsion as lyrics wax solipsistic over the cyclical nature of all modern man's foists and foibles. With rogue song structures and plenty of surprises around every corner, RAH BRAS continue to master the art of not boring themselves by subjugating the rock idiom to their every whim.

HARDCORE. RAID should be known for their split with HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH from earlier this year. They return with another split; this time with DIRTY PROTEST. RAID count 2 members of '80s legends SEPTIC DEATH among their ranks and play yet again furious and intense hardcore, in the vein of JERRY'S KIDS and - of course - SEPTIC DEATH. DIRTY PROTEST is an international project with RADIO BIKINI and SEPTIC DEATH members, among others. They're brandishes a raw guitar attack and passionate female vocals, playing catchy mid-tempo hardcore-punk. Limited, numbered edition of 525 copies.

POST/EMO-HARDCORE. From 1992-1995, RAIN LIKE THE SOUNDS OF TRAINS (members of VERBAL ASSAULT, BEEFEATER, SOULSIDE) toured and cranked out politically charged, groove-oriented punk-rock and heavily influenced the post-hardcore scene around the US. This full-length contains 8 songs from RAIN LIKE THE SOUNDS OF TRAINS' three 7"s that were released on Rebel Music, Dischord and Atomic Action. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card plus bonus demo tracks.

POST-HARDCORE. Clawing their way out of San Luis, RAINBOW PERSON have created a sound that's completely inaccessible and instantly magnetizing. Blasting guitars that swirl with distortion, ravaging vocals of desperation and anger, are all ammo in their dedicated feud against melody. This band is an ungodly heathen product of the masters like BORN AGAINST and D.C. bands. Not to be taken lightly.

HARDCORE. "new blood" is 6 songs of brutal intensity. Frontman Sean O'Brien's unique vocal style ranges from eerie, layered spoken delivery to a vicious, venom-soaked roar. HARDCORE. "weathered" is the 1st output from Providence pummelers RAINDANCE since their 2012 LP. With these 2 tracks, the band continues to build on their modern, yet '90s-inspired heavy hardcore that takes cues as much from INSIDE OUT and 108 as it does from bands like VERSE or HAVE HEART. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card and is limited to 300 copies.

INDIE/EMO-ROCK. RAINER MARIA has returned in full force with a brand-new, self-titled full-length written and recorded by all 3 founding members. Frequently hailed as a pioneering band in the Midwestern d.i.y. scene, RAINER MARIA got back together in 2015 after a decade-long hiatus and has been playing shows ever since. Inevitably, the next step in the reunion was to produce new music and at that the group has achieved what so many bands are unable to do - rekindling the magic of their previous releases in a way that will both re-ignite the passion of longtime fans and endear the group to a new generation of listeners poised to discover them. Thick 180gr vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Aggressive hardcore-punk from Hungary with elements of early Japanese hard-punk styles. Powerful stuff!

POST-PUNK. Brazil's RAKTA is back with 6 new, powerfully feminine trips through the fog. Simultaneously claustrophobic and cavernous. You can feel pulsing bass and thundering battery intertwine, akin to a snake coiling around your leg, pulling you down into the murky vortex. A flourish of atmospheric keyboard and vocal clamor pulls you right back to the surface just in time to be sucker punched by silence. This garland will leave you reeling. Re-press on black vinyl is limited to 300 copies and includes a digital download card.

POST-PUNK. Howling winds over the barren sands sting your eyes just enough to make you question wether or not you did actually see what you think you saw. A shrouded figure casting shadows on memories of the future? "oculto pelos seres" is all of those and more. By now RAKTA's signature brand of punk fueled, goth tinged, seemingly structureless yet extremely taut soundscapes should be familiar to you and if it isn't then this is a great place to start. Housed in a textured glue pocket sleeve with a vellum lyric sheet and stickers bag. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE. RAMALLAH is the product of Rob Lind (BLOOD FOR BLOOD, SINNERS AND SAINTS) taking a quick snapshot of the current turmoil of the world with the angry camera of his soul. Musically, RAMALLAH blends apocalyptic metal and chorus-oriented hardcore with eerie melody to result in a potent style of aggressive music. On RAMALLAH's debut full length, "kill a celebrity", Rob cohesively blends the best elements of metal, hardcore, and rock 'n' roll, to create a challenging and disturbing epic masterpiece that is as much political and prophetic as it is personal and revealing.
