HARDCORE-PUNK. "vol 1: teaching you the fear" is the much-loved 1st album that's been unavailable since Empty Records reissued it 10 years ago. More manic and locked-in then the early 7"s, this is REALLY RED in their prime, fired up and focused to lay down what they likely thought was their one shot to get it all on vinyl. The release comes with part one of David Ensminger's (Left Of The Dial) extensive interview with singer Ronnie Bond. A true classic of its time - or any time - "teaching you the fear" has been restored from the original tapes and re-mastered by Jello Biafra to sound better then ever. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE-PUNK. "volume 2: in pain" is the long-lost 2nd album that hardly any REALLY RED fans back then knew existed. Unavailable for almost 30 years, now all tracks are restored for the 1st time ever, with vastly improved sound - fiercer and heavier, but still vintage REALLY RED. Side 2 shows the band's roots with an awesome Texas psycho cover of THE RED CRAYOLA's "war sucks". " in pain" was re-mastered Jello Biafra and comes with part 2 of David Ensminger's interview with Ronnie Bond. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE-PUNK. "vol.3: new strings for old puppets" could be the surprise hit of the bunch. Here in one place are all the highly sought-after REALLY RED 7"s, plus more from the early days that has never been released. The LP kicks off with the KBD classic "modern needs" and the even rarer "crowd control" 7", followed by an unlikely punk cover of PETULA CLARK's "downtown." Finally seeing the light for the 1st time is "little death", the song Jello wanted for the "let them eat jellybeans" compilation in 1981, that only survived on a tape. Then it's on to the hardcore era and the "new atrings for old puppets" itself, before a final rewind to the live songs originally released as the "despise moral majority" official bootleg. The sound is dramatically improved. This is one kickass album, lovingly curated and remastered by Jello Biafra with part 3 of David Ensminger's extensive interview with singer Ronnie Bond. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

OI/STREET-PUNK. Here come THE REAPER. A brand new Dutch outfit that are about to rip it up internationally with their smashing, hard-hitting debut for Rebellion Records. Featuring 13 songs, "rip it up" could best be described as an heavy-weighted, beefed up take on that classic sound of THE TEMPLARS! Clean guitars, brute vocals, powerful singalongs, catchy riffs and a boot in the face! Though these veterans aren't afraid to throw in some ROSE TATTOO influences as well

HARDCORE. Hailing from one of the most fucked up cities in Germany, Magdeburg. This is their great follow up to their split 7" with Unrestrained from 2010. REBARKER continue to delve into the chaotic void of emotive hardcore to pull forth 10 frantic and jilted tracks. Slightly depressing, very emotive, solidly honest, and intense sounding hardcore. They create a dramatic and moody hardcore assault that is over flowing with passionate. The sound is extremely intense and gripping. Rebarker draw influences from mid/end '90s screamo bands like CHOKEHOLD, THE SWARM, ORDINATION OF AARON and REVERSAL OF MAN and update it with a modern powerful driving force and plenty of creativity. Perfectly written tracks (includes 2 interludes and a nice '80s pop-cover) that flows effortlessly from one song to another - creating an ethereal mood spanning the entire emotional spectrum. Intricately interwoven chaos and melody, screams and whispers and power. Honestly, this is emotionally charged from start to finish. This straight-edge powerhouse proves once again that the edge has not gone dull. The one-sided record comes with a screen-printed b-side, a full color printed cover and includes a digital download card. [PK 068]

HARDCORE-PUNK. REBEL SPIES is members of SUICIDE MCHINES, HELLMOUT, FOREDIRELIFESAKE and more playing melodic hardcore-punk with a sincerity reminiscent of 7 SECONDS, THE MISFITS and even DAGNASTY. Limited edition of 300 copies.

THRASH/BLACK-METAL. The debut album from REBEL WIZARD, "triumph of gloom" - a riff heavy, anthemic headbanger that effortlessly brings the epic and the grim - a triumphant fusion of fist-pounding IRON MAIDEN and BATHORY, perhaps? REBEL WIZARD's negative metal is an anarchic alchemical process of outsider energies respecting the power of traditional triumphant metal into a unique sound to smash out the coerced gloom and banality of our times. RBEL WIZARD can't be summed up with one simple label. It's not black or thrash-metal but firmly rooted in both. Many bands try to combine different genres of metal, some fail, some succeed, but what makes REBEL WIZARD strive is it's done from instinct.

HARDCORE. THE RECLUSE come out of the Birmingham's hardcore scene with a fast, rough style that crosses the paths of AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, MODERN LIFE IS WAR with a hint of DEATH THREAT. Their colored debut 7" contains 5 tracks of hard hitting tracks.

METALCORE. After an independently released MCD, Albany, NY's RECON present their debut full-length of 11 punishing tracks packed to the gills with breakdowns, not unlike ACACIA STRAIN, EMMURE and BURY YOUR DEAD. "Welcome to viper city" is a powerhouse record which includes guest vocals from the vocalists of ACACIA STRAIN and SKINLESS. RECON were able to create the album they dreamed of. 2008 will be the year of the snake, watch out.

POST-HARDCORE. Tampa's RECREANT is a hardworking band with this, their 1st vinyl release. RECREANT seamlessly blends a base of dark hardcore with harsh late '90s style screamo. It has dark emotional power but never cease pounding with crushing heaviness and hints of metal from time to time. What really makes this band stand out is the violin work which really drives it along. This is not just the token violin note here and there to give it a an epic sound - this is a substantive addition to the sound and really adds power. The vocals are duel male/female harsh screams and totally make this perfect for me. These are screenprinted on inside out used record jackets to reduce resource use.

OI/STREET-PUNK. By the early '80s, when leading punk bands firmly established themselves on major record labels, and punk-rock had lost a good portion of it's passion and excitement, a new wave of skinhead/oi! bands such as RED ALERT, PETER & THE TEST TUBE BABIES, BLITZ and THE PARTISANS stepped in and spearheaded the re-emergence of punk. Originally released on the No Future label in 1983 (after three 7"s which made the UK indie charts top 30!), RED ALERT's debut album "we've got the power" perfectly represents the suburban anger and grief of the working class oi! movement of the time.

POST-HARDCORE. "marche funebre" is the follower of the well praised debut "quiet as death" by RED APOLLO. With influence by bands such as ESCAPADO, FALL OF EFRAFA and many more, the sound of "marche funebre" is way more extensive and vaster than on the debut. The rattling drums, sagging guitars and a laconic voice build up a soundscape which is intensive and oppressive at the same time while unsettling and noisy interludes fill cracks between the songs to create a menacing atmosphere. The lyrical themes are about the morbid and shattering moments of life, sometimes for real, sometimes in fiction and nightmarish. The 2nd press comes with a huge poster and includes a digital download card.

EMO-PUNK-ROCK. After LPs on labels like Paper + Plastick and Say 10, Oklahoma's RRED CITY RADIO found a fitting home on Red Scare. This 12" is 5 tracks and 21min. of melodic, heartland punk-rock like DEAD TO ME, NOTHINGTON or HOT WATER MUSIC.

EMO-PUNK-ROCK. RED CITY RADIO's sophomore full-length album, "titles", was recorded with the pressure of following up a beloved debut record. RED CITY RADIO responded with 10 tracks that expand upon the punk structure they built with "the dangers of standing still". The band grows in different directions, at times becoming grittier while in other cases sprawling out into new territory.
