PUNK-ROCK. LAMOUR were a late '70's 1st wave US punk band with power-pop elements from Richmond. The original 7" they yielded back in 1979 is coveted by collectors of that particular genre/time. Nearly 40 years after the band entered the studio to lay down tracks for their 1st and only 7" on the band's own legendary label, Beach Impediment is proud to not only re-release those classic songs but also bring to light a slew of previously unreleased tracks, alternate demo takes, and even a rare later era soundboard recording of the band live in their hometown that exhibits a grip of originals that sadly never made it into the studio before the band's untimely demise the day before Reagan took office. Each record comes with a fold out double sided insert chock full of archival photos and flyers plus liner notes. Limited to 500 copies.

HARDCORE-PUNK. The 1984 debut LP from THE LANDLORDS has long remained a cult favorite amongst collectors and those local to the band's hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia. In March 1984, The Landlords headed up to Inner Ear Studios to record their debut LP with Don Zientara. "hey! it's a teenage house party!" was released later that year on the band's own Catch Trout. While the 21 song LP bears the same vibrant production as early D.C. hardcore releases, THE LANDLORDS' style and approach remains unique to this day. While a firmly-rooted hardcore-punk record of the '80s, tracks like "nuns in black leather" (featuring Dave Smalley of D.Y.S.). DEATH-METAL/GRINDCORE. From Phoenix, LANDMINE MARATHON tears forth with its 2nd full-length album. Originally released in 2008, "rusted eyes awake" possesses all the elements that make LANDMINE MARATHON one of the most powerful up-and-coming forces in today's world of heavy music. Anthemic riffage that rekindles the spirit of the classic titans of death-metal from BOLT THROWER to ENTOMBED; a seething crust approach that has earned the band shows with the likes of TRAGEDY and DESPISE YOU and a bong-ripped vibe that could only originate from the parched wastes of the Arizona desert.

DEATH-METAL/GRINDCORE. Raging, punk fueled, female fronted grindcore with death-metal hints from ex-members of UNRUH and SUICIDE NATION. "sovereign descent" is a sonic representation of LANDMINE MARATHON's hometown in the desert of Arizona: scorched, desolate and angry as hell, taking cues from grindcore legends like BOLT THROWER, CARCASS and NAPALM DEATH.

DEATH-METAL/GRINDCORE. Originally released on vinyl by Level Plane in 2006, Prosthetic and Deep Six Records has repressed this 9 song vinyl. The 5 members of LANDMINE MARATHON play thrashy grindcore that recalls the early days of Earache Records. Their 1st full-length, "wounded" combines ultra heavy riff loaded guitars and punishing rhythms that alternate between maniacal blur and choke-the-life-out-of you slowness, all crowned by Grace's gender blurring vocal onslaught. Fans of BOLT THROWER, TERRORIZER, DAUGHTERS, ED GEIN and ASSÜCK will soon be suffering from a case of headbanger's neck.

GRINDCORE/CRUST-METAL. Of all the bands revisiting old styles of metal these days, there is a tiny circle of bands getting it right. LANDMINE MARATHON flies the flag for the raw proto-death metal of the early Earache Records era. LANDMINE MARATHON revitalizes the early days of BOLT THROWER, CARCASS and TERRORIZER, bringing a fresh new passion to a classic era of extreme music. DEATH/GRIND-METAL. Extinction - greed - duffering. LANGUISH (featuring members of NORTH, GATECREEPER and TERRITORY) deliver on "unworthy", a filthy punk-fueled death-metal-grind monster. "unworthy" is a 15 track full-on aural assault on humanity, with noise filled overtones, blistering blast beats and death-metal riffs. Never letting up from start to finish. This is one down-tuned mammoth for appreciators of NAPALM DEATH, AUTOPSY and NASUM.

POST/SCREAMO-HARDCORE. After the self released demo in 2008 and the split LP with JOHNNY FUTURO in 2010 finally the 1st full-length from LARA KORONA. Stistically the band changed their sound massively. The 5 songs on "land unter" are more mature and progressed compared to older songs. Skillfully the band combines a dark and heavy atmosphere with playful parts. To put this into a genre: post-screamo-hardcore would fit best. Intense and heavy, loud and clear "land unter" sounds always familiar but surprising at once. The artwork comes in a stylistic cover.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Remember the '70s? C'mon, of course you do. Well, LARD hasn't forgotten. And they are dying to share those memories on the title track of "70's rock must die". It's a trip down Melrose with long hair and leather- Jello, Al, and Paul flipping the bird as they drive. And, yes, that actually is Jello singing. But don't fret, the rest of the release harkens back to the LARD that we all know and love. Here are 2 gems boasting crushing guitars, freakish noises and Jello's wailing vocals - the pulverizing sounds that have come to characterize LARD.
