HARDCORE. G.L.O.S.S. is still really mad about shit that really matters. In "trans day of revenge", they tear down pacifism in the face of state violence, transmisogyny and respectability politics, all in 5 tracks that will leave your heart pounding with joy and rage. This is for all the trans punks wanting more, 6min. that allows us to envision an alternate future and "weaponize our alienation". Searing riffs, raw vocals, d-beats.

HARDCORE. "sober living for the revolution: hardcore punk, straight edge, and radical politics" takes a look at straight-edge as a movement and its link to radical politics, with contributions coming from Ian MacKaye (Minor Threat), Dennis Lyxzen (Refused), Andy Hurley (Fall Out Boy, Race Traitor), legendary bands like Manliftingbanner, and radical collectives like CrimeThinc. as well as numerous other artists and activists dedicated as much to sober living as to the fight for a better world.

HARDCORE. "x: straight edge and radical sobriety" is Gabriel Kuhn's highly anticipated follow-up to his critically acclaimed "sober living for the revolution". In this impressive volume, Kuhn continues his reconnaissance of straight-edge culture and how it overlaps with radical politics. Extensively illustrated and combining original interviews and essays with manifestos and reprints from 'zines and pamphlets, "x: straight edge Aad radical sobriety" is a vital portrait of the wide spectrum of people who define straight-edge culture today.

HARDCORE. GADGET is youth and energy plain and simple. It's not about playing everything perfect it's about doing something worth it and this band exudes that. For fans of OUTBURST, STRIFE, ENSIGN, straight-edge, and the color purple.

HARDCORE. Coupling the musical delivery of both TRIAL and FLOORPUNCH, Albany's GAINING GROUND bring a fresh approach to their scene, attacking with speed, anger and plenty of breakdowns and singalongs. Overall just completely astonishing hardcore. This is definitely a must buy if you're into this type of hardcore.

GARAGE-ROCK. In an age when peeps of a certain age are going goo-goo googly-eyed over the XTC back catalogue, rediscovering all manner of '60s psych-pop and garage treats, and lionising such moderne combos as THEE OH SEES, that THE GALILEO 7 haven't reaped comparable plaudits seems just plain stoopid. This, their 5th album - it's high-energy, psychedelic garage rock 'n' roll, replete with catchy, memorable tunes, seriously gnarly guitar, darkly humourous lyrics, four-part harmonies. Limited to 300 vinyl copies with free CD featuring an exclusive extra track!

GARAGE-ROCK. "there is only one now" is the new album from Medway's finest garage-psych-beat combo. As the title of their 6th album proudly proclaims this record is nothing if not now! From humble beginnings 10 years ago THE GALILEO 7 has evolved into a powerhouse live act delivering the kind of lysergically-inclined technicolour garage-rock rarely witnessed these days; one born of experience, exploration and an enjoyment of one's own craft. The pastoral psych-pop moments are more colourful, the crash-bang-wallop gear more dynamic, the riffs sharp enough to take your eye out.

POST-HARDCORE. These 2 songs from internationally based hardcore standbys GALLOWS are their 1st since 2012's self-titled album. Though now stripped down to a four-piece, the band is clearly doing more with less: "chains" is one of the heaviest songs in their catalog, an anthemic sledgehammer backed on the b-side by the groovier but equally snarling "wristslitter". This newest incarnation of the act seems to vaguely parallel the progressive tendencies of contemporaries like FUCKED UP and BLACKLISTED without compromising their core ferociousness and snide, socially-aware bite. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-HARDCORE. The hardcore band who made huge press waves after forming in 2005 in their homeland of the U.K. and who are now based all over the world, had an evolutionary overhaul on their self-titled full-length in 2012 with new vocalist Wade MacNeil (ALEXISONFIRE). But that was just the beginning. The band's 4th full,-length, "desolation sounds", continues their journey into weirder, esoteric territory that stretches the genre's boundaries and yet retains mammoth, rock power. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-HARDCORE. Following its "grey britain" album in 2009, British outfit GALLOWS lost the backing of its major label and dealt with the departure of original singer. The band quickly rebounded and released this self-titled full-length with new vocalist Wade MacNeil (ex-ALEXISONFIRE). This 11 track offering is more pissed-off hardcore for the apocalypse. Metallic half-distortions pair with in-the-red guitar fuzz. MacNeil’s gravelly punk screams are even raspier and more guttural than his predecessor’s. Combine that with riff-borne ferocity, breakdowns, and singalongs, and you have a band as potent as ever.

SLUDGE/DOOM-METAL. From the deepest, nastiest recesses of Gothenburg comes crushing Swedish sludge duo GALVANO. "trail of the serpent" includes 4 heavy-hitting tracks full of of epic riffing and tantalizing drumming, each of them reaching and stretching past the 10min. mark. But you will not find the slow, surging buildups that have become so typical in today's postgenres, in GALVANO's lengthy compositions: this album is a refreshingly diversified ode to the power of the riff...a record that will inevtiably make you move, and what better could guitar music do to you?

HARDCORE. At long last, the follow up to 2017's "who will play" flexi has materialised in the form of "no one wins" on the LP format. With influences and membership that spans the world of hardcore both stylistically and geographically, this platter sports 10 tracks of pummeling hardcore that incorporates metallic elements drawn from the near and far reaches of mid-'80s international hardcore and thrash to the simplicity of domestic hardcore pestilence. Members of ARMS RACE, FUCKED UP, CAREER SUICIDE, SHRAPNEL, VIOLENT REACTION and more.

MELODIC/POP-PUNK. Very few bands have been able to combine the best elements of punk, hardcore, emo and pop to make something simpler, something all their own. Orange County's GAMEFACE has been perfecting just such a style since 1990 and have never looked back. There's good reason why GAMEFACE have been credited with influencing so many of today's younger, successful bands like SAVES THE DAY, A NEW FOUND GLORY. "always on", shows a maturation that can only come with experience. "always on" is a 10 track collection of the emotional, melodic rock that GAMEFACE has become known for and somehow improve upon.

MELODIC/POP-PUNK. The Southern California-based outfit, now featuring Jeff Caudill, originally formed in 1990 and has since released 5 full-length albums, each carrying the band's dynamic, distinctive sound that has gone on to influence countless bands over the years. "come on down" is a brand new track, while the other is a new recording of a previously released song from GAMEFACE's 1995 release "three to get ready". The revamped version also now includes guest back-up vocals from Ingo (DONOTS) and Mike (DAMNATION A.D.).
