POST-HARDCORE. FORENSICS is a D.C. area all-star band featuring an unlikely cast of former members from such bands as BURNING AIRLINES, CORN ON MACABRE, PG.99, TRIAL BY FIRE, WAIFLE and ADMIRAL among others. The results are epic. The dynamic and complex guitar work takes listeners from somber, lulling melodies into searing moments of intended devastation laced with a southern heavy rock feel. The lyrics of hope and resistance explode atop the dense and delicate chemistry that is FORENSICS.

THRASH-METAL/HARDCORE. Finland's FORESEEN is back with the topically resonant, savage, crossover burst "grave danger", their 2nd album for 20 Buck Spin. Continuing the direction of its predecessor, this album delivers the punishingly relentless pace and aggression now firmly established by the band's iron hammer. Scraping, throat-ripping vocals with lacerating thrash hardcore breakdowns twist seamlessly with an '80s metal tenacity. Along with RED DEATH and POWER TRIP, FORESEEN are writing and recording some of the finest crossover we've ever known.

PUNK-ROCK. Mr. Wanky of the infamous WANKYSA joins forces with other miscreants from the British Isles (HEALTH HAZARD and ATOMGEVITTER) to release yet another noise-punk gem. This time, the band seems to be focusing a bit more on catchiness than the WANKYS, making this less furious, but more fun. Also, there's an ode to the legendary Donkey Dan on this 7", so don't miss it!

EMO/POP-PUNK. FORMER MEMBER is a collaboration between Jason Shevchuk of KID DYNAMITE and renowned producer and recording engineer Will Yip. From the mesmerizing opening track "cold open" to the non-stop, head-nodding single "morocco at two in the morning", to the arousing and anthemic "prospector" sounds like what you'd expect out of this duo but vastly surpasses your own expectations. HARDCORE. Intense, loud, fast hardcore from Montreal, with ex-members of ...AND THE SAGA CONTINUES, BIONIC, and HOLY DIVIDE. This self-titled 7" contains 12 songs in under 8min.. Reminiscent of Six Weeks Records releases, but influenced by both the punk and metal scenes of old and new. From early D.R.I., and DROP DEAD, to NAILS. Frantic guitars and distorted bass, held down by a drum charge with pissed off lyrics about being dissatisfied with the world over top. The record is limited to 300 handnumbered copies and on color vinyl.

HARDCORE. What do you say about a new FORWARD record? They've left the "what's the meaning of love" and "revolution" hooks in the annals of punk legend and, along with Prank's "war nuke and death sentence" from 2012, have saved their most searing material for nearly 2 decades into their run. Ishiya's gravel-throated vocals are more devastating than ever and the term bombastic has rarely been more accurate than on this 6-song banger. The anti-war bent on "against their insanity" is unforgiving (and refreshing), and the anger and frustration translates to the harsh metallic riffing matches the frustration conveyed by the song's lyrics. FORWARD bookend the whole thing with their best tracks ever, just to remind you that they have absolutely earned the legendary status that they hold.
