SXE-HARDCORE.A CHORUS OF DISAPPROVAL formed out of frustration to the hectic and undisciplined punk scene. Taking cues from the more extreme East-Coast hardcore bands mixed with their own groove and style, the CHORUS would arguably be the blueprint for the burgeoning, West-Coast, militant straight-edge scene. Originally released 30 years ago on the formative Nemesis Records, "truth gives wings to strength" became an instant classic that has gone on to influence countless bands. Colored (silver) vinyl is limited to 350 copies and includes a digital download card.

INDIE/EMO-ROCK. Southern California's A CURSIVE MEMORY bring some fluffy pop hooks and rock sensibility to this debut full-length, which is 12 tracks of infectious melodies and driving guitars. "changes" is their 1st full-length but with years of playing together under their belt they have assembled a catchy and streamlined album for the masses. After listening to the 12 tracks you will be hard pressed to not singalong yourself. A CURSIVE MEMORY brings to mind bands like ARMOR FOR SLEEP, JIMMY EAT WORLD and SAY ANYTHING.

MELODIC-HARDCORE. Florida's A DAY TO REMEMBER have managed to combine upbeat, melodic punk, and sensitive emo stylings with crushing metallic hardcore, creating a record that has a broad appeal. Imagine the shoutalong gang vocals of COMEBACK KID mixing with raw melodic hardcore of ATREYU and SILVERSTEIN. Throw in some massive breakdowns that would make BURY YOUR DEAD green with envy and you have a vicious and catchy record. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

MELODIC-HARDCORE. Hailing from Florida, A DAY TO REMEMBER are one of the hardest working bands in the business. From the very beginning, A DAY TO REMEMBER have proved their musical abilities to win over fans and they are at it again. Their characteristic mix of monstrous singalong choruses and mosh-pit-inducing breakdowns has showcased the true talent of this band. They have excelled brilliantly with their unmatched musicianship, writing some of the heaviest yet catchiest songs. "what separates me from you" expands the band’s widening spectrum, hitting harder and bouncing bigger than ever before. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST-HARDCORE. A HOPE FOR HOME's new album, "in abstraction", is a rich and dynamic execution of post-rock/metal at its finest. Colored vinyl is limited to 500 copies and includes a digital download card.

POST/NOISE-PUNK. Their 5th full-length finds A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS difficult moments into some of their most urgent work to date. The noise-rock outlaws exist in a dimension of their own, fusing punishing, abrasive frequencies with moments of lucid melodic clarity. There's a sense of paranoia running through the songwriting that could only come from A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS. This album definitely does explore some new territory. It may alienate some current fans, but welcome new ones into the fold at the same time. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

POST/NOISE-PUNK. "transfixiation" is A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS' 4th album. Rather than fixate on precious recording techniques and minute details like they may have done in the past. From the tortured straight-to-tape transmission of "i will die" and molten funk melodies of "straight" to the violent guitar spasms, cannon-like drums and not-so-idle threats of "deeper", this is very much an unpredictable record.

POST/NOISE-PUNK. Guitars as jet engines; guitars as haunted electronics; guitars as filling-melting white heat: A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS' new album "worship" is explosive, visceral, and dark. The duo continue the evolution of songwriting that began with "onwards to the wall", interweaving threads of krautrock, dream-pop, and '80s goth without ever losing the edge that is quintessentially strangers. There are ambitious, trend-bucking choices at every turn. A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS simply push itself further in all aspects of their music. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

PROGRESSIVE-METAL. Led by NEUROSIS' Josh Graham, A STORM OF LIGHT take the lumbering slowness of sludge-metal to new levels, occasionally riffing at a pace where you forget what the last chord sounded like while you're waiting for the next one. Filling in the gaps, you're presented with a doubled-up drumming approach courtesy of ex-SWANS skinsman Vincent and SATANIZED's Pete, who add an enormous amount of weight to the mix, punctuating monolithic outpourings of low end abrasion on "undertow" with snares that sound like the blasts of distant cannons.

PROGRESSIVE-METAL. Every few years a collaboration stands above the myriad split releases that are haphazardly scrapped together. "primitive north" is what 2 strong bands can create when their forces are joined together. Colored (red) vinyl comes housed in a eyecatching gatefold-cover with an etching on the 4th-side and a CD version.

HARDCORE. Released in conjunction with THE A-TEAM's most recent reunion show in December of 2018, this 7" collects the last 2 tracks the band ever recorded during their original run which were released on the CD-only "boston scene report" compilation TKO Records, plus their track from Stab And Kill Records' "stab to kill" compilation. Rough and tumbling Massachusetts hardcore with a rocking edge. Limited edition of 200 copies.

HARDCORE-PUNK. A.G.E. from Niigata/Japan are back with their 1st recording in 5 years! Their 3rd full-length contains 7 songs of metal crushing hardcore. Similar to later VARUKERS and ANTI-CIMEX and some other influences from old scandinavian bands with highly angry socio-political lyrics in that typical strange jap-english style. As brutal and uncompromising as ever.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Featuring former and current members of such legendary Finnish bands as RIISTETYT, TOTALITÄR and MEANWHILE, ÄÄRITILA bring 19 tracks of pure raging hardcore-punk that sound like a throwback to '83, with plenty of speed and not a word of English. The sound could be compared to both RIISTETYT and TOTALITÄR, as ÄÄRITILA use a lot of the same influences and styles. No metal, no funk, no death. Just plain DISCHARGE type hardcore; just the way it was meant to be.

HARDCORE. ABC DIABOLO were from Saarbrücken, Germany and put out a 7" on the legendary Off The Disk Record label. A bit later they went on to record 2 brutal and fierce albums on Common Cause Records before they disbanded in the mid of the `90s. These 7 tracks were recorded in 1992 (rehearsal tape with unreleased songs). Their sound is primarily fast and thrashy, but they mix a diverse array of influences into their sound. The vocals are so over the top and pushed into the red and the guitar riffs and punching drums are classic and just really catchy. Other German bands from that era such as ACME, CAROL, SYSTRAL, etc. seem to be more widely remembered these days, whereas ABC DIABOLO is a little more off the map for some reason. One-sided vinyl comes with a screenprinted b-side and is limited to 200 numbered copies. Metalheads and punks alike should dig this shit!
