KYLESA
from the vaults vol.1 (2012/SEASON OF MIST)
PROGRESSIVE-HARDCORE/METAL. KYLESA has blossomed from their humble beginnings into one of the most acclaimed heavy rock bands. While criss-crossing the world in the wake of their acclaimed bestseller, "spiral shadow", the band has assembled what they describe as a labor of love with "from the vaults vol. 1". This collection includes rare and previously unreleased tracks from past recording sessions, alternate versions, covers and even a brand new track into a must-have, outstanding collection. Vinyl version includes a digital download card.
KYLESA
static tensions (2009/LA FAMILIA/PROSTETIC)
PROGRESSIVE-HARDCORE/METAL. On their 4th full-length, Savannah's KYLESA continue to bombard the senses with another 10 tracks of heavy, sludgy hardcore with intense, pounding drums and the occasional melodies, running a gamut from blackened death-metal on "said and done" to the piano-laced, Middle Eastern-tinged "running red". Artwork done once again by Baroness' John Baizley.
KYLESA
time will fuse its worth (2012/ALTERNATIVE TENTACLES)
PROGRESSIVE-HARDCORE/METAL. Back in print on vinyl! Since this Savannah/Georgia, quintet first formed in early 2001, worrying about genre limitations has never been a priority. "time will fuse its worth" is the 3rd release from mighty KYLESA. For this 2006 album, their lineup includes 2 drummers and pulls snippets of flavor from diverse areas of music and assembles them into a giant tsunami of bone-crushing hardcore and metal. KYLESA ranges far and wide, using their utter disregard of musical boundaries to bring together avant-garde experimentalism with the pure fury of dirty, sludgy riffs and raw, impassioned male and female vocals. Vinyl is newly remastered by the band and features new artwork.
KYLESA
to walk a middle course (2012/ALTERNATIVE TENTACLES)
PROGRESSIVE-HARDCORE/METAL. From the ashes of seminal underground legends DAMAD, rise hardcore-metal gods KYLESA. Brutal, atmospheric and masochistic, KYLESA hypnotizes with an aural metal beating for a stagnant scene gasping for a breath of fresh air. "to walk a middle course" is an important piece of the KYLESA puzzle - a cornerstone of their unique sound, with influences ranging from hardcore to stoner-rock. This album will put KYLESA at the forefront of the art-core noise, doom-hardcore and metal scene. It still sounds as fresh and relevant as it did when it was released in 2005. Vinyl is newly remastered by the band and features new artwork.
KYLESA / VICTIMS
split (2012/DEATHWISH)
PROGRESSIVE-HARDCORE/HARDCORE. This split 7" was previously released in Europe by La Familia in 2009. This revamped Deathwish version is a brand new pressing and features new artwork and design by Ryan Patterson (Coliseum). Colored 7" includes a digital download card.
KYLMÄ SOTA
10 tracks (2011/FERAL WARD)
CRUST-HARDCORE. Re-stock! This is basically the perfect d-beat record of 2010. Avoiding the clichés of raw-sloppy-crust mess that's all too popular these days, KYLMÄ SOTA take cues from DISCLOSE but still sounds crisp and precise. Distortion aplenty that never gets in the way of song writing and execution. To top it all off, they throw in a cover of "if tomorrow don't comes" from the criminally underrated EVANCE, adding their own twist by singing it in Finnish.
L'ACEPHALE
malefeasance (2009/AURORA BOREALIS)
BLACK-METAL. Portland's L'ACEPHALE return with "malefeasance", a lengthy and complex affair that further explores their fascinations and strikes headlong into the darkest of musical vistas. The journey this time is perhaps even more academic: further ethnographic audio elements are now present, more spacious passages, a deeper approach. "malefeasence" is undoubtedly primarily a lesson in black-metal, yet more on aesthetics and feeling, rather than song structure. The darkest elements of folk, noise and Slavic classical music are also revealed, adding depth to each individual track.

LA CORDE
unmarked doors (2012/RESURRECTION)

LA DISPUTE
somewhere at the bottom of the river between vega and altair (2011/NO SLEEP)
POST-HARDCORE. Most frequently referred to as post-hardcore (but sometimes also progressive-rock and screamo), LA DISPUTE has spent the last year of its existence writing and recording their 1st full-length album. The result is far and away the band's most mature, articulate and diverse release thus far - expanding significantly upon the groundwork from its previous 2 short releases. "somewhere..." attempts to display an unceasing passion for art, emotion, love, community and any other aspect of life that inspires humanity to create for the better. Colored vinyl comes with gatefold-cover and includes a digital download card.
LA DISPUTE
wildlife (2012/NO SLEEP)
POST-HARDCORE. LA DISPUTE's "wildlife", is a nearly 60min. musical examination of the twentysomething search for purpose - an exploration of the struggles that confront, damage and redefine us inevitably in life through 14 tracks of new material. LA FRACTION
Aussi long sera le chemin (2002/SKULD)
ANARCHO-PUNK. The title translates into: "however long it takes". This is their 2nd album and it was really worth the wait. Raging straightforward fast and melodic punk with some of the best female vocals you can come across!! The style of singing reminds a lot of this typical french "chanson-style" singing. Nothing really changed, but the production is more powerful than on their last already outstanding release. Comes in a nice 4-coloured sleeve with a 4 coloured booklet - lyrix are translated in english for those who are not familiar with french.
LA FRACTION
la vie revee (2006/MALOKA)
ANARCHO-PUNK. This is their 3rd full-length and it was really worth the wait. Energetic and raging punk with catchy and melodic parts, nice female vocals with that outstanding typical french "chanson-style" singing. The personal and political lyrics are well written, too. Nothing really changed, but the production of the 10 new tracks is more powerful than on their last already outstanding releases. Soon to be a classic album.
LA MISERIA DE TU ROSTRO
jauria (2012/DEPRAVED & DEVILISH/VEGAN)
HARDCORE. Blasting hardcore from Santiago de Chile. As their 1st full-length, this album is a great combination of hardcore, with pissed off dual vocals, metal riffing, neo-crust hints, melody driven energy and high intensity. LA MISERIA DE TU ROSTRO playing crushing end-'90s influenced metallic hardcore like POINT OF NO RETURN, NUEVA ETICA or GATHER and SEVEN GENERATIONS. Limited one-time pressing of 500 colored vinyl.
LA PIOVRA
s/t (2007/AGI PUNK)
HARDCORE. European one-sided picture-disk LP version of their silk-screened one-sided LP on Youth Attack with revisited artwork and 1 additional unreleased track! LA PIOVRA featuring members of Italy's best, L'AMICO DI ;ARTUCCI and OHUZARU. LA PIOVRA's sound can best be described as a frantic cross of early LOS CRUDOS mixed with demo era-JELLY ROLL ROCKHEADS. This masterwork has all the makings of a classic and is sure to redefine your floundering faith in Salvation. Great italian hardcore with tons of rock influences.
