DOOM-HARDCORE. Finally coming up with their 1st full-length, this multicultural band creates an ugly bastard of BLACK SABBATH metal, hardcore and sample-loaded atmospherical noise passages. Sheer heavy riffs, punishing drums and stomach-deep bass-humming over which a tortured female voice expresses both hate and desperation roll slowly, but unstoppable towards the overwhelmed listener. Just as KYLESA are leaving their path with their recent album, INSUICIETY are ready to take over the crown of heavy tribal punk - or in other words: imagine "souls at zero"-era NEUROSIS meets DAMAD. Comes with superb foldout-cover.

PUNK-ROCK. THE INSURGENCE began in 2004 in the rain soaked city of Seattle, quickly earning a reputation as one of the hardest working bands in the Northwest. Gaining such attention landed them support slots for such heavy hitters as RANCID, DROPKICK MURPHYS, CIRCLE JERKS, SUBHUMANS and STREET DOGS just to name a few. They seamlessly blend high-energy punk rock with pumped up rock 'n' roll, creating a volatile blend of bands like THE CASUALTIES, DROPKICK MURPHYS and ZEKE.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Just like their neighbours in REGULATIONS and VICIOUS this quartet, with members from DS-13, DICK CHENEY, AMBULANCE etc., devotes themselves to '80s style hardcore-punk but with more striking power than the local competitors. They mix that raw feeling with the sound of classical bands, ending up with a simple and pure soundtrack for destruction. It is apparent that the group have studied the classical compilations "flex your head" and "this is boston not la", BLACK FLAG and CIRCLE JERKS. The fact that INSURGENT KID have managed to make their full-length debute sound like it was released on Xclaim, Discord around 1982 makes it the best swedish hardcore album so far this year.
