HELL AND REASON
s/t (2009/TWELVE GAUGE)
HARDCORE. HELL AND REASON is as dichotomous as their name indicates. Taking influence from heavy-hitting predecessors such as CURSED, TRAGEDY and ENTOMBED, combined with the sociopathic anguish of bands such as SWANS and CHRISTIAN DEATH, they are bound together by the outspoken ideals synonymous with TRIAL and CATHARSIS. Having just completed their self-titled 7", HELL AND REASON are focused on constant progression and aspire to go over the top, taking flight from the stagnant trenches of modern hardcore and metal and into no man's land, running full force into oblivion.
HELL CHILD / WORD SALAD
split (2000/HATER OF GOD)
SLUSGE-METAL/HARDCORE. Japan’s HELLCHILD kicks it off with 2 tracks of their vicious and twisted sludgey drone metal with some of the most unique vocals ever! Heavily textured and possessing hints at subtlety, the music churns along with a nice rhythmic groove. WORD SALAD drop 4 on side-b with a frenzied blend of slower sludgy rhythms and aggressive speeds, surprisingly ripping through a few traditional thrash metal riffs here and there. The vocals are scathing screams that slide right into the music and make for a honed attack. On rare occasion some of the tremolo picking and layering brings a bit of a classic black metal aesthetic in, but the dirtiness surrounding everything is definitely suggestive of a different beast. Power-violence deluxe!
HARDCORE/METAL. You'd better turn it up. Or turn it off. Or get fucked. UK's THE HELL have been raising eyebrows and wrecking havoc in the hardcore scene with the release of their critically acclaimed and despised debut album "you're listening to the hell". Featuring big riffs, memorable hooks and enough shout-along, "groovehammer" was self-recorded and features 13 venomous, in-your-face hardcore anthems.
rippercrust (2009/AGI PUNK)
CRUST-HARDCORE. Here's the official re-press of the record that gave birth to the term "crust"! Originally released in 1986 as a demo-tape, all the songs are here digitally remastered to sound powerful than ever and to blow away all the poor-quality bootlegs around. This is true metal/hardcore crossover, totally influential! This full-length comes with gold screened cover, "remastered" original artworks, 4 pages inner sheet.
the need to kill.. (2009/CIVILISATION)

"the need to kill.." feature 14 new (and new recorded older) tracks - their most powerful and best recordings to date. HELLBASTARD is one of the most metal-influenced crust bands ever with their ripping metallic sound and highly political content lyrics. If your into AMEBIX, DEVIATED INSTINCT, AXEGRINDER or PROPHECY OF DOOM you should check this out! Thick 180gr vinyl comes with a well done gatefold-cover. This is the soundtrack for our pending doom.
HELLBORN MESSIAH / POST WAR DEPRESSION
CRUST-HARDCORE/ANARCHO-PUNK. This is a split full-length with 2 bands from Germany! HELLBORN MESSIAH from Freiburg deliever raging political crust-hardcore with crunching guitar and dual vocals. The vocals are painfully raw and pissed. POST WAR DEPRESSION on the flipside hail from Karlsruhe and play anarcho-punk. They combine intelligent lyrics with aggressive music, and their sound is peppered with male/female vocals.
HELLCHILD / GOMORRHA

out of stock
apocalyptic raids (2008/BACK ON BLACK)
THRASH-METAL. Forget a second about labels like metal, thrash and hardcore, because this release has a lot of things in common with all of them. HELLHAMER's "apocalyptic raids" is squarely more on the VENOM, MAYHEM, and NWOBHM side of the fence than anywhere else. "apocalyptic raids" is full of simple but effective guitar riffs, angry demon vocals, and most of all the awesome dungeon atmosphere this album permeates. This sounds relatively tame next to bands like ANAAL NATHRAKH etc. but in its day it was the heaviest stuff around. The silly satanic imagery provides a definite comic element to HELLHAMMER, just as it did with VENOM and BATHORY. The music is generally fast, but sometimes slows down into an almost doom tempo for variety, which sounds great. This is brutal, primitive thrash-metal at its best. Highly recommended to those who want to seek the roots of extreme metal.
decade of dust (2011/TWELVE GAUGE)
HARDCORE. Callusing and fast metal fused with d-beat hardcore, Tucson's HELLHORSE is a unique blend of precision and raw aggression. Lyrically, "decade of sust" paints a bleak and mysterious picture, as much for fans of CELTIC FROST as it is for those of CATHARSIS, RINGWORM and GEHENNA. Members of BLACK TEETH and CONDEMNED.
doomsday hour (1997/SKULD)
CRUST-HARDCORE. After a few years of silence and tons of lineup changes HELLKRUSHER are back. It took them long to do this full-length, but it was worth waiting. Their most powerful and best recordings so far. The best comparison are a bastard of VARUKERS and DISCHARGE. Housed in a gatefold cover!

For this release, they have joined up with fellow punk veterans DEADLY REIGN, a d-beat assault out of Texas. Each complement the other in their protest of war, religion, and politics. Fans of DISCHARGE take notice! ecords.
destroy everything.. (2009/LIVEWIRE)
HARDCORE. HELLMOUTH is misanthropy. HELLMOUTH's grim reality could only have been spawn from the likes of Detroit. HELLMOUTH is bombs, death, unemployment, corruption, sex and politics. Hellmouth is both anti-christ and anti-human. Taking cues from their lengthy experience in the hardcore community, HELLMOUTH has come together to put forth the most extreme and uncompromising band of its members' careers.
gravestone skylines (2011/PAPER + PLASTIC)
HARDCORE. After living in darkness for far too long, HELLMOUTH is about to d-beat listeners to death with the 2nd album in their fucked-up arsenal of doom, thrash, death and destruction. Picking up where "d.e.w.n."left off, the 2nd slab of wax will continue to bang the heads that will not bang. With nods to bands like CELTIC FROST, BLACK FLAG, TRAP THEM and DISFEAR, HELLMOUTH is drawing from its members' past while carving its own disgusting sound.
HELLMOUTH / EXPLODE AND MAKE UP
split (2010/UNDERGROUND COMMUNIQUE)
